“Expensive, but quality.”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

~Fun place for a light snack meal (salad, cheese & bread, bruschetta, etc.) or just a dessert and drink.
~Quality food.
~Attentive service.
~Modern decor -- concrete floors, tea-light candles, Buddha and lotus flower motifs.
~Exterior seating with heat-lamps available.
~Ideal for a date night, couples, friend gatherings, birthdays, etc.
~Beautiful glass display of cakes and desserts when you enter the restaurant.
~Full-size birthday cakes decorated with fresh flowers available for purchase.
~Located in downtown's Little Italy, which is a fun place to walk around afterward.

~It's expensive. ($8-$10 for a slice of cake, $6.50 for a small pot of tea, $14 for a salad). However, food is good quality and you can easily share the large portions.
~Not ideal for a proper meal/dinner out, although a salad and a dessert was enough for us.
~I personally find many of the desserts a little large, over the top and too rich. It would be better if they made them smaller and less expensive. Three bites of chocolate cake and you've had enough because it's too rich. Definitely share.
~A portion of the restaurant is a shop, selling gift items. I find this a waste of space. It would be better if they devoted this area to seating for waiting for your table or for extra tables to lessen the wait time.
~Street parking.
~Gets very busy.
~Noisy atmosphere.

“Visited both locations - great desserts”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

Similar to the other location, these are very pricey desserts but the flavors, decorations, combinations are fantastic. This location has a seating area which does serve savory dishes. We went after dinner and it was so crowded and the wait list was so long that we ended up ordering for take-out. The waiting area is beautiful and has a lot more items other than desserts. The number of choices was larger than the other location. It was fun to see and hopefully next time I'll be able to eat there. As before, everything we tried was delicious.

Not only the tastiest and most beautifully decorated desserts ever (adorned with real rose petals-- organically grown, no less!), but the paninis (smoked salmon, goat cheese, turkey were all great) and salads were also terrific. The decor was hip/industrial, with lots of candles in the evening. There is a small outdoor space as well. WIne and beer selection was great.
