A beautiful spot...we biked out to Point Loma from downtown about 12 miles ( a lot up hill) but worth it...a great location looking back at the city of San Diego

“One of the best attractions of San Diego”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

Everything about this place is great. This is a great place for all the ages. Keep the sanity when you visit as most of the spots have endangered self contained ecosystems / plants. You can spend the whole day here..great place for photogs.

“Cabrillo and tide pools”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

A fun place with a lot of history to visit. But try to go during low tide if you want to hike down to the tide pools or you won't get down there. The monument is also a wonderful place to get a birdseye view of the city, harbor and island. It costs to get in unless you are in the military but worth the small fee.

“Great inspiring place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013 via mobile

When visiting our daughter, who lives here we took a ride to this beautiful spot. It happened to be the 100th year anniversary of the monument so we got to hear one of the Navy brass quintets performing...beautiful! Visited the lighthouse and the cemetary. The backdrop for all was a magnificent San Diego skyline and the ocean! My daughter had never been here so it was a great treat for all of us. Definitely a destination when you're visiting San Diego.

Had seen the signs to Cabrillo National Monument and decided to check it out. Went there with the family and found this awesome place on the edge of the city. The tide pools, rock formations, and trails were awesome! Cheap entry fee and lots to see. I will be returning
