Great views. Be sure to walk the cliffs and check out the tide pools. Hike can vary from easy to moderate. Wear good footwear.

We rented bikes and biked up. Got a good workout getting there, the hill is a killer. But well worth it for the view at the end.

Cabrillo is an amazing National Monument with history from the discovery of San Diego Bay to the military on Point Loma, and the Old Point Loma Lighthouse as well as the new one down off the west side cliffs. Besides the visitors center, the Bayside Trail gives you a great hike with views galore. You can often see whales too. Take the drive down along the cliffs for some more breathtaking sights. The road to the Monument goes through Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, which is also worth a stop.

It takes a little bit of drive to get out to this sight, but it is worth it. The lighthouse alone is amazing to tour, but the museum is worth spending some time in. Views from the sight are amazing.

The views are spectacular and well worth the $5 entry to the park. You can see out to the Pacific Ocean and in towards Coranado Island.
