This is a great spot to sightsee, hike, learn more about San Diego history, and take-in some amazing, unparalleled views. The docents and rangers are very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking. The gift shop is so-so.

I love light houses! And the view of the city on one side plus the view of the ocean on the other side is spectacular. Gift shop is fun too.

The views here have no equal. While this is a National park, it is part of a Naval station. There is an entry fee, as in all national parks, but there is also lots of security and “authorized” areas, so pay attention to the posted signs. Check out the point first before walking up to the lighthouse. The views are well worth the entry fee ($20/per car, $10/on foot or bicycle).

Great area for scenic views of San Diego. The tide pools are great but checkout tide charts so you can go at low tide. The old lighthouse is interesting. Visitor center is nice and park rangers are informative.

This is such a beautiful place to stop and see. The views of San Diego are breath taking. The breeze is so cool you feel a million miles away from the city. Make sure to stop and see this area if in SD
