Just returned from 3 nights attending a conference here. The hotel has been recently refurbished and is still working out some kinks. We had problems with the AC and the lock on our room door but they were promptly addressed and repaired. Our room was on the small side but we did not spend much time in it.

The swimming pool on the 3rd floor is surrounded by a large deck and is heated. It was a nice escape in the middle of the day.

The conference facilities were excellent.

The hotel location is very central- many attractions are just a walk away.

Nice touch- free airport shuttle.

Only negative- parking is $40 per day. We were able to find a public lot just a few blocks away however with in and out priveledges for just $15.

I am so happy to read you enjoyed your conference experience and stay at the Westin San Diego. We are one of the few hotels in downtown with an outdoor pool and our sun deck is a great place to relax and enjoy San Diego’s great weather. We have completed our $15 million transformation and the final product leaves you feeling better than when you arrive; exactly what Westin is all about. Our complimentary shuttle to and from the airport provides an arrival and departure experience that is uncomplicated. The Westin San Diego only offers valet parking, however, there are many options in the area to choose from. Our pricing is competitive within the downtown market and valet vs nearby self-parking offers in and out privileges which makes coming and going from the hotel convenient. Thank you for your review and we look forward to hosting you and your conference again in the future!

My girlfriend and I were headed out to a restaurant and instead of the doorman getting us a cab, he drove us there in the Westin van. Although the restaurant was only a few blocks away, we were amazed by the service! Thank you Darren B. Our experience at the Westin was above and beyond our expectations.

Recently had an enjoyable 3 night stay at the Westin. It is definitely a business meeting destination, but is well located in downtown San Diego. I do not recommend it for family vacations. The service from all was very good as were the meals. The rooms have different shapes, but are comfortable. The shower has a rain forest shower head plus a wand on a hose. The lighting in the bathroom is excellent. So if you are on a business trip you will enjoy.

One of the worst hotel experiences in recent memory. The room had no hot water and the water pressure overall was sub-par, particularly in the sink. The ice machine on the floor never worked even after they said they would fix it. The food at lunch was horrible. The staffing at the front desk was minimal with long wait time and they were clueless about how to fix anything

Our franchise held it's annual meeting there so I was there for 4 nights and found the accommodations excellent and the staff the best I've ever found in a whole lot of years of travel.

We needed a lot of setup for our convention to support video capture and sound feeds. I cannot say enough good things about the speed, efficiency, friendliness, responsiveness and knowledge of the staff. They had everything you could want in the was of cables, risers, etc., and knew how to get them to work with our gear.

Fantastic support. If I ran a convention, I'd take it here just for that. But that's not all. The lighting in the ballrooms was very even and not some florescent green unmatchable color (important to photographers and videographers) but was near 3000K and easy to match with standard lighting setups.

More amazing, we needed to know what temperature their lighting was to arrange the proper lighting kit and darned if they didn't dig around an find out for us! That friends, is exceptional service.

Hotel staff was uniformly courteous, helpful, friendly and careful with our equipment. This place is great!

Restaurant is good with an excellent menu if you find yourself eating there.

So, what's not to love? Not much that I found. Stay here for a great experience.
