Thank you very much for your review. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay with us.
Welcome Back !!!
We booked a Studio apartment via RCI timeshare Points and we stayed for just 2 nights following a cruise.
The studio was very large with a lovely comfortable bed and a big window overlooking the street. We were on the third floor and the noise from the street at night was tremendous until the early hours of the morning. That was the only downside of the unit.
The studio had a small mini kitchen with microwave but no stove.
The bathroom room was enormous!!!
Breakfast on the Roof Terrace was excellent. What a lovely location!
Good facilities, nice staff, cool lifts, breakfast was fresh and ample. There is a nice roof seating area overlooking the city. Rooms are sufficient in size and clean. The room had a lounge area which was comfy. The location is perfect in the gaslamp district, this is where you want to be. The parking was confusing but I think that was San Diego in general with the parking. Would stay again if visiting the gaslamp district.
I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. San Diego is a wonderful place to visit and I hope you went back to England with fond memories. In regards to parking, I am sorry you found it confusing. If you or any other guest ever have any questions in regards to this, please don't hesitate to ask.
We stayed in the Junior Suite and it looked exactly like the hotels web page photo. Nice large room with kitchenette, sofa and chair, desk and flat screen TV. The restroom was large and had a large soaking tub shower combo. The pillows, all 6, we're thick and nothing like the down pillow I'm used to. The windows in the room are single pain and the noise level on Friday and Saturday nights is very loud. At times it sounded as if there were a party outside our tenth story window. I would recommend ear plugs. The location is great! If you want to stay in the Gaslamp district I would recommend this hotel despite the noise level. The price was cheap for what your getting. The hotel keys are transmitter type plastic cards and can be effected by other magnetic strips, so keep the key away from credit cards in your wallet.
We stayed at this hotel overnight a couple weeks ago and really liked the feel of it. We chose this hotel because we wanted an affordable suite, and the room was perfect for our needs. The hotel had a nice vintage feel, and we loved that. The room was very comfortable as well. "Breakfast" was included and while it's on a very nice rooftop, it was just a continental breakfast.
It was also located in a lively downtown area, and while that is certainly a positive, our room happened to face the street. Which meant we could hear everything from the bars across the street and at the corner, all the car alarms, and had some difficulty sleeping. If I did it all over again, I'd require a room off the street.
Staff was wonderful!!!
