“This was OK.”

It looks a bit rough and ready, but is quite interesting to go on the exhibits. Make sure you are agile if you go on the subs - very cramped and H&S isn't really taken into account.

“Go into the subs, visit all the boats”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

This is well worth the money, don't hesitate to ask if senior or student discount if you qualify, and go see all the photos and read the tags and go in and on all the ships, including the 1863 clipper, the 1873 Russian sub, etc.

“Maritime Museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

This was a good way to kill an afternoon. The subs were neat, we were disappointed that the Surprise was not available, nor was another yacht which was closed for a private party. There was still lots to see and the $5 Harbor tour was well worth it. The guide and pilot were lots of fun

“Something to do in San Diego”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

Our friends were going to the San Diego Zoo & we weren't interested in tagging along so we were looking for something to take up our afternoon. These ships were pretty cool to walk around & check out. If you're looking for something to take up some time I'd say this is worth it.

“Submarines, ships and ghost stories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

Many different styles and eras of ships, including the one used by Jack Sparrow. We went the weekend before Hallowe'en so they had a return event in the evening for spooky ship related ghost stories. The adults loved it as much as the kids! Seeing the inside of both a Russian Sub and a US sub made it well worth the visit. Great value too.
