A very interesting place to visit. My husband and I brought his Dad and stepmother here years ago; we waited for seemingly hours on deck while they read each and every little placque! (Obviously THEY enjoyed it greatly.)

Great view as well as cheap tix price to see many ships and 2 subs. Russian and American Sub. You get to go on and in all these ships. About $14 for everything. Plan about 2 hrs at least to see it all. You get a work out too going up and down stairs but worth it.

San Diego boasts a magnitude of treasures, one being the Star Of India. This originial old sailing vessel is in the heart of the San Diego Bay.Walk back in time of pirates and enjoy the beautiful San Diego Harbor view. Within walking distance are many attractions such as the Embarcadero or Maritime Museum. Take a time out for the San Diego Harbor excursion and see Coronado Island, seals, and more.

And so wa that Russian submarine but that submarine is gone. No the Star did not sink it. It was funny seeing the red sickle and hammer in this very American Harbor.
