I could not say more good things about this hotel & it's staff. We were just there over the Thanksgiving week for our grandson's US Marine bootcamp graduation. Friendly service, clean rooms, surroundings, very HOT water in shower every day. They always helped us where we were going offering for shuttle to take us but we rented a car & got around. From Ashley staying on the phone with me for turn by turn directions to hotel from car rental agency to Jim the bartender when we got there late, to every other staff member! Free parking for our rental car, plenty of good places to eat within walking distance if you want. You won't regret your decision to stay here! The area around is great walking area with great views.

Room Tip: The king suite has a balcony that overlooks the harbor/bay area.

Thank you for joining us during the Thanksgiving Holliday. You must be very proud of your grandson graduating from MCRD and for choosing to serve our country. I am happy to hear that our staff, guest room, amenities, neighborhood, and everything else contributed an all around great stay during your special trip to San Diego. Please thank your grandson for his service, and we hope to see you again soon.

We recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Airport/Liberty Station in San Diego. It was a very nice place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean, along with having a fridge was very convenient. The beautiful outdoor pool and jacuzzi was well maintained The motel is in nice, convenient location from downtown and many other transactions. The price was reasonable, maybe a little high, though I would recommend staying there.

Room Tip: Great location and nice and clean.

Thank you for choosing Courtyard Marriott Liberty Station. I am happy to hear you enjoyed our pool area. It is indeed a very beautiful space, with views of the water and park promenade, which creates a resort like atmosphere. We are proud of our location, and are happy you found it a convenient alternative to other options in the area. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we hope you are able to join us again soon.

I sleep best when the room is cold and the air conditioner did the trick. Great places to walk around the hotel. The shuttle picked us up quickly at the airport when we called. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is located on the site of the old Navy Training center. The remodel of the site is amazing with some historic buildings like the Chapel restored. Others have been remodeled to accommodate shops, cafe's and all kinds of shopping. The location is at the San Diego Airport so some might be concerned about the noise after 7 am. In our case the proximity to Shelter Island for walking and jogging along with the well maintained Liberty Station site made this our new destination lodging in San Diego. The service at the hotel was excellent and Damien handled our check like a true professional.

Room Tip: The water view rooms are best with a nice view of the San Diego skyline.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the complete Liberty Station experience. Since its Grand Opening after its transformation from a historic Navy facility, Liberty Station has been consistently praised by both locals and visitors, and we are very proud to be a part of that. While we are located conveniently adjacent to the San Diego Airport, the orientation of the flight path prevents airport noise from disturbing our guests. Thank you for your kind words on our staff, particularly Damien, and for making Courtyard Liberty Station your new go-to San Diego hotel!

A nice newer Marriot property near SAN, just 6 min shuttle ride with free hotel shuttle, driver is great. The rooms are nice, food is just ok. Service in the bar is very friendly however only 1 server for a 30 seat restaurant means you must be very patient for service. They are hustling but on football nights the place gets quite busy.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our hotel. We are very proud to be one of the few hotels in San Diego that offers complementary shuttle service to and from the airport. We have a great team of shuttle drivers who create a great first impression for our guests. I apologize for the delay in the bar; our NFL Game Day Happy Hour is very popular. I am happy to hear that, as always, they remained courteous and as speedy as can be. Thank you again for your review, and we hope you stay with us again soon!

I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels and this has to be the most disappointing. The room was pokey, the ac did not function properly and the bath plug was broken and therefore really just a shower. I will not be back, there are plenty of far superior hotels in San Diego for the same price. To top it all off drunk guest make considerable noise throughout the night.

Man, I hate to read reviews like that! It's like a punch in the gut!

I'm so sorry you encountered problems during your stay with us. We appreciate the feedback though, and have corrected the issues. As you can read from previous reviews, this isn't a systemic problem here, just an isolated case unfortunately.

I don't know how to respond to the "pokey" comment, but again, as you can read, most all of our guests feel differently, and our rooms are pretty similar to the 800+ Courtyards in the system.

Thansk for giving us a try though, and I wish you well!

I changed to this hotel from the Courtyard at Mission Valley, was so pleased with the nice location near the harbor, walking paths, and location in a nice new small shopping center with restaurants, massage and pedicure shops. Staff was extremely friendly, and pool patio area was a great place to sit out and enjoy the lovely San Diego weather! I was attending a conference at the convention center and it was an easy 10 minute drive. I appreciated being removed from the crowds and chaos of the Gaslamp and general downtown seediness and staying at Liberty Station. Will definitely return! The Homewood Suites was right next door and would also be an excellent choice.

Thank you for your review, and for being a loyal Courtyard guest! We are very proud of our location and of being part of the Liberty Station neighborhood. We believe our hotel is in an awesome location that is off the beaten path, and offers a more tranquil environment than where some of the other San Diego hotels are located. I am very happy you enjoyed all that our hotel and Liberty Station has to offer, and hope you are able to visit again soon.
