I was concerned since the sales department dropped the ball on some items prior to my visit. A few days prior Terri (front desk) and Maria (front desk supervisor) were VERY helpful in getting paperwork in order and last minute room requests. Hotel is convenient to airport and rooms have a great view. Very solid Courtyard. I would most likely choose this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for bay view room!

Stayed here for 4 nights and had one of our best stays. Hotel was very clean and lovely. Our room had a nice little balcony with chairs that overlooked the pool, water and esplanade. It was so beautifully landscaped and quite peaceful. I was initially worried about the airplane noise but slept like a baby and never heard one plane at night. Also liked how easy it was to get to all the sites around the city we went to. The Liberty Sation area is also wonderful because there are restaurants very close as well as ice cream and a Trader Joe's. We will definitely stay here again if we get to go back to San Diego!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view and you'll get a water view as well.

This hotel was perfect for our 3-day visit to San Diego. The location close to the airport was great and turned out to be very convenient to restaurants and other necessities on major streets (Nimitz and Rosecrans, to name a couple.) The front staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we expected. Our third-floor room was quiet, and the view overlooking the pool was beautiful. The view across the water to the San Diego skyline was also nice. The hotel is adjacent to a Navy property, and a public trail along the canal waterfront in front of the Navy facility provides an excellent place to walk or jog. While the hotel does not provide a free breakfast, the on-site snack bar had a nice selection of breakfast foods, juices, and pastries for sale at reasonable prices, along with nicely-equipped outdoor tables. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel!

Room Tip: We asked for the bay side and enjoyed the view very much. Our room was over the pool area which was...

We booked a "Bay Front" room and paid a premium for 4 nights in late January. A bit more than I like to spend but I thought 'waht the heck' it is our vacation.
Hotel was very clean, Front Desk Girls were outstanding, Good 'made to order' Breakfast was included in our package.
Room was spacious, modern and in good condition.
My only complaint was I could NOT see the San Diego Bay from the room even though I paid a premium. All that was visible was 'dead end canal/river' that was a couple of hundred yards away. The acutal Bay was about 1/2 mile way off to the side of the Hotel.
My recommendation: Very good hotel but do not book the Premium view Bayfront rooms - just not worth the extra bucks!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 3rd-4th floor.
