“Elvis Was Here!”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

This historical and beautiful hotel was a joy to stay in. The Seville is 85 years old and does show its character and that is lovely! It has the amenities of a Choice Hotel brand room...very comfortable bed, large room, good bathroom linens and products and yummy breakfast. The buffet breakfast included items I have not seen in other hotels such as real scrambled eggs, fresh made banana bread and yummy hashbrown casserole. We ate off real plates, not Styrofoam, and with stainless steel utensils, not plasticware. Our room did have an older smell to it which is understandable considering the hotel's age so I gave it a very good rating instead of excellent. Over the years, several celebrities have stayed in this hotel including Elvis himself. If you stay here, you will have bragging rights too!

I recently stayed for 1 night at this hotel. It was a pleasant change from the typical chain hotels even though you can get Clarion rewards for staying here. My room was small and the bathroom teeny, but it had been updated. I felt that there is still some refurbishing to be done, such as painting of doors etc. which was much needed. The hotel ambiance was very pleasant. If the bathroom had been bigger and the chipped paint touched up it would have been a special hotel. I found the breakfast voucher ($6.95) to be adequate , but the breakfast they served for that seemed slim ( 1 toast, 1 bacon, 1 egg and lots of fried potatoes).

We appreciate your thoughts on your recent stay at Hotel Seville and will pass on these recommendations to our Maintenance Department. As you might well imagine, keeping painted surfaces chip-free in an older property can be a challenge!! Please do inquire for future visits about guestrooms in our (newer) Buffalo River Wing, as these rooms and their baths are more spacious and include fridges and micro-waves. You will be also be pleased to know that we are now serving a buffet breakfast to hotel guests, including hot entrees such as biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, cold cereals, fruits, muffins and much more!

Sincerely......Lou Anne T., GM

My wife and I stayed here for our "second honeymoon" 30th anniversary. It was our home base for hiking at Buffalo National River. We chose it because of the historical elegance in case we had to stay in the hotel during rain instead of hiking, and because the hotel is reasonably priced, especially considering the free full breakfasts. The old hotel restaurant, where we ate every meal, had interesting and delicious food. The hostess was very knowledgeable about all things local and historical. We are already planning to stay here again.

We had stayed at this hotel once before but this time our two grandchildren, ages 8 and 12, were with us.We didn't know how they would like but they were fascinated with the nostalgic atmosphere and the fact their grandfather was born and lived in the area.

Room Tip: Some rooms are larger and we could have used a little larger room with the kids so inquire. We used...

Old remodeled piece of history. Very comfortable room. What makes this hotel great...very clean and free cooked to order breakfast. Don't find that at many of the hotel chains. Restaurant in the hotel great food and we didn't have to go hunt a restaurant

We love visiting and staying in these type of hotels. This one was great!!! It has individual heat and air and our room 2003 was very large with 2 queen beds. More than enough room for my family of 4. The hotel sits in the middle of historical Harrison Arkansas. The 1928 bar was very nice and easy going. We sat in the patio with great service. We also had free made to order breakfast!!! That alone is worth $20-$30. Our price for the room was $109 per night. But beware that the buffalo wing is over the parking garage and is very noise in the mornings. There is lots to do here!!! Love the hotel!!! Will stay again!!!

Was so surprised at how elegant this old hotel was. Was able to upgrade our room to a king suite and it was very roomy. Not much of a view but the lobby was were where the view was...just striking. Ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the service was so slow I about lost my patience but both times the food was so good that all was forgiven. Was disappointed in the bar area, it is a beautiful old bar but they did nothing with the décor. The bartender however was great and made my drink just as I requested. They brought in a band and was such a small area that sitting in the lobby listening to them was more comfortable. For a small town they did a great job.

Room Tip: Don't be fooled by the big staircase...they have an elevator:)
