“Great hospitality”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

We were there in June the staff was excellant and very helpful with informing us about the area. The room was great, the hotel is very charming. We had looked online for a place that was different and wanted a more personal feel. We very much enjoyed our stay there, would stay again

I'm a choice plus member and was traveling thru Harrison so I thought I'd give the place a try. It was very nice lobby and the room was good and the breakfast in the morning was a great touch. The staff was extremely friendly.

I had been through Harrison before but never stayed. I looked up hotels on Tripadvisor and this place was highly ranked, and for good reason. Since I'm a Choice Privileges Gold member and have a company discount, I decided to book a room here. We enjoyed our balcony and had some drinks out there. The main bathroom was incredible: a double shower and a two person jacuzzi bathtub (not a hot tub). The king bed takes up most of the bedroom and is very close to one of the hallway doors. I suggest getting this room, but maybe you could check out the Buffalo River Suites above the parking garage.

Room Tip: Pick the presidential suite if you want your own balcony,

In all my years of traveling I have never stayed in a hotel room without a window. The front desk checked us in and even gave us an gold member upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable. The air condition noise to just a bit to get use to. I skipped the breakfast that offered cold cereal, fruit, and blueberry muffins; hopefully the restaurant will be open next time.

This is a beautiful old building, I am glad to see it so well cared for. We will stay here on future travels.

We have stayed at the Seville numerous times and were very happy to see that it's reopened. If you have the option to spend $10 or so extra to stay in a larger room, do it. A few years ago they tried putting us in a small room, and it was very small. We gladly spent the few extra bucks to get the larger room. The room we always book since then has a king-size bed, balcony, mini-fridge, two lounge chairs, and a "work area." The hotel offers covered parking, free wifi, and a free continental breakfast. The breakfast is no frills, but it's free. There was a restaurant downstairs, but it's no longer there. We paid only $70/nt, which makes this place a no-brainer. We also enjoy the downtown location so we can walk around the town square. Yes it's a few miles from the city's main restaurants, but it's Harrison, you'll be there in five minutes.

Room Tip: Room 2021 has a king size bed and is a king size room (for the hotel). It has a balcony that is sha...

After trying for 3 years we finally got decent weather to take a motorcycle weekend in Harrison, AR. We booked the 1929 Hotel Seville because they are motorcycle friendly, Upon arrival they upgraded us from a 2 bed room to a King Suite at the same rate. The room was clean and comfortable with a great bed. Other amenities were a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave. There was a wet bar in the living room. The room was fairly modern, Loved the overhead shower head. Each room had it's own on wall air conditioner and they were both very quiet. The remotes took a few minutes to figure out.
A great plus was the covered parking and designated motorcycle parking slots, although when they were full, there was still ample parking. I believer they even have a wash station for bikes but didn't see or use it.
Even though the breakfast was lacking any hot food and the bar and restaurant were closed, I still gave the hotel high rating because they are working on bringing these things back. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and they always cheerfully responded to requests for extra towels and a late make up of the room.
We plan to return.

Room Tip: Call and talk to them about your requirements and concerns.

Last weekend, I had the chance to stay in the newly-reopened 1929 Hotel Seville in Harrison, AR. This historic hotel not only offers a convenient location for events near Lake Harrison, but also near the hospital. We were there for their annual Crawdad Days Festival, which proves to be like a small town carnival...with Crawfish! And the motorcycle riding around Harrison...OMG! It's amazing!
Now, the hotel has undergone some recent changes of hands as far as the ownership goes, and this is somewhat visible in the fact that the restaurant/bar is not yet reopened. Our room, a two queen bed suite, was very nicely decorated and furnished. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel! The bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water and clean towels after a hot day of riding motorcycles. It also had a "wet bar" area with a mini fridge and microwave in addition to the double-cup coffee maker. The only odd thing about our suite was...it had no window! However, this provided a touch of privacy and the room was nicely lit with a skylight. The hallways in the hotel have some really cool historic pictures of the town, complete with explanations as to what is shown. Like a little museum!
The staff was very generous to share glass pint glasses for evening beverages, which was nice since the bar was not open.
For motorcyclists, they even have reserved, covered motorcycle parking in back that is monitored, complete with towels for wiping down your scoot! Just be careful as the floor of the parking garage tends to become quite slick when it "sweats" in the summer or becomes wet from rain and/or snow.
Overall, this hotel very much met our expectations for location, quality, and price. Once all the amenities are open, this will once again be an amazing place to stay while enjoying the local attractions of a small town in Arkansas!

Room Tip: The Presidential Suite has access to a nice, private balcony that would be ideal for relaxing with a...
