Went to Crossroads Rib Shack after hearing that it was really good. The ribs were better than good -- they were excellent! The meat was literally falling off the bones. The ribs are smoked with a dry rub, but there are three BBQ sauces at the table if you want to make the ribs muddy (Sweet -- my favorite, Mild, and Hot). We had the slab for two, and it was more than two people could comfortably eat. The ribs are served with baked beans, slaw, and Texas toast.
The service was excellent; there were two servers there for the evening shift when I went in the middle of the week, and they were constantly checking on tables to be sure that customers had everything they needed. They were very nice and very attentive.
Even though the slab of ribs was huge, I just had to try dessert -- you can't miss the hot fudge cake. At only $3.19, the huge serving is a steal! Not only that, it was very good, and a great way to end the meal.
I will definitely be back. If you're in Tupelo, be sure to try out this place..
