This bar and grill is slightly hidden off the street, you walk down a wide alley (called THE ALLEY, by signage). The Alley is located across from the old court house. The atmosphere is very local. When you enter the bar is to the left and there are probably about 10-15 tables on the right side. The walls are red with brick accents and black bead board for the ceiling. The special is written on a chaulk board on the wall across from the door. I had the special which was Chicken pot pie with salad and my husband had a burger. The chicken pot pie was good (the filling was in a low bowl with a crescent type square in center of filling) and my husband burger was AWESOME! I had to try it and wished I would have gotten it instead. With the burger you can get up to three types of cheeses, grilled onions and mushroom plus the normal add ones like lettuce, bacon, etc (for no additional charge). Salad was very fresh. Dessert was free with lunch special which was Red Velvet Cake that day. Waitress was nice (although busy) and even talked a little to us afterwards about how we heard about the place. We definitely plan on going back to try their Saturday Brunch she told us about which features omlettes, pancakes and mimosas! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
