Bedrooms were large, very clean & comfortable. The staff were all very helpful & friendly. Only used the restaurant once for breakfast but it was perfectly fine although well worth visiting the cafe just down the road for breakfast (i think it was called Thorntons) which was fab although it gets pretty busy. Parking at the hotel wasn't cheap but then Boston is a pretty expensive city generally. Overall it was an ideal hotel in an ideal location

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and it was just perfect for our needs. Very comfortable, well appointed room, and very comfortable beds. Reception staff were extremely efficient and pleasant. We did not eat at Jo's Brasserie as there were so many other options in Boston but another guest highly recommended it. Unfortunately the pool had closed before our visit but it is a wonderful asset to the hotel. Boston is a very easy city to explore, very friendly, and the Colonnade was just the right place to stay. We would certainly recommend it to everyone.

My husband and i have just returned from boston where we stayed at the Colonnade for 3 nights either side of a week long cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We cant rate this hotel enough. The rooms are really modern and very well equipped. The bathrooms very clean with the most powerful shower ive ever used and you will find Collette the duck awaiting you! :-) The beds are probably the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever stayed in with lots of pillows and cushions to choose from. There is a very well stocked mini bar available to use if you wish and a FREE!! safety deposit box, which makes a refreshing change. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly especially Norman who always had a smile when leaving and returning to the hotel. It is in a fantastic spot close to lots of amenities and faces the prudential tower and shopping mall. We loved the colonnade so much we couldnt wait to get back from our pokey little room on the cruise ship and are all ready thinking about a return visit to boston in the future when we will definately hope to stay once again at the colonnade.

A friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend and could not have been more pleased. From the initial welcome to the morning we left we had our needs anticipated and met with surprising consistency.
The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. The beds were comfortable with ample pillows and soft sheets. The bathrooms were clean, with plush towels, lovely amenities, and a rubber ducky - which was a lovely little touch.
The employee were generally welcoming and kind in a way that made you feel at home and a majority of them remembered our names, a special Birthday and seemed truly sad to see us go.
We had a variety of items from the Brasserie downstairs and all of them were superb. The restaurant is located on the first floor and has a lovely menu with a variety of choices to meet just about anyone's palate.
I was never disappointed whilst staying here. OK I was a little disappointed I had to leave and return home to reality but all good things...

We stayed 2 nights at the colonnade and really enjoyed it. Great location, a very friendly concierge that helped us with all our needs, and a top bar to round of an evening. The room was spacious and elegantly styled with a great view on the prudential tower.
The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 points was the cost of the parking in the hotel. 76$ for 2 nights is steep. Maybe the hotel can offer its guest a special rate? Just an idea, the rest was impeccable.......

We spent the weekend in Boston and stayed at the Colonnade. It is a great location, has a fantastic restaurant on location and the rooms are really, really, comfortable. Very good proximity to restaurants, shopping, train, subway, Fenway and more.

Room Tip: Better views from the front side of the hotel

My wife and I stayed at the Colonnade Hotel from Mon 10 Sept 2012 for 4 nights. We were well looked after by Stephanie Conroy and all the staff, really polite staff and could not have been more helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious, bright, we had coffee making machine, mini bar which you can use as fridge, free daily newspaper lovely bathroom and a large TV with lots of channels. Perfect 10 out of 10. Thanks to Stephanie, a lovely girl and all the Colonnade Staff. The place to stay in Boston. Garnett Cromie Northern Ireland
