The staff bungled our reservations. Several levels of management canceled rooms unrequested, added rooms, changed rooms and put me on a different floor from my children's rooms. Common sense was clearly lacking.

Thank you very much for the feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear of the concerns with your room assignment and reservation process. I will be sure to follow up with our Front Office team. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you ever travel back to the Boston area, I would be happy to assist.
Best Regards,

This hotel is a great deal for the city of Boston. The prices are significantly lower than hotels in Boston-but its 5 minute walk to the MBTA's Red Line (JFK/UMass Station) makes it easy to get anywhere in the city quickly! The rooms are clean and modern and the service is outstanding. As with any Doubletree, a chocolate chip cookie is give when you check in! Also, the restaurant/cafe located in the hotel has prices lower than any other hotel restaurant I know (making it a good place for breakfast-as the area around it has pretty much no restaurants of any kind). Overall a great stay!

This is a fine location if your business has you near the Expo Center or South Boston. For me, it was just a little remote and didn't offer any walkable dining locations or shuttle service to the same. Be aware that it is not near the airport although they do have an airport shuttle. A trip in Boston traffic could take 20 minutes to Logan.

staying overnight with my husband and 2 children. expected more from a Hilton hotel. small double beds and poor selection of food in the cafe for breakfast. food available was frozen, not much of a selection, unripe bananas and a few apples to choose from. charge for wi-fi in rooms was disappointing.

Shuttle from airport was right on schedule. You do have to call them first. Check in was fast and easy. Room was of good size and good amenities. Breakfast was ok and operated by a contract provider. Hotel also provided transportation to other parts of Boston as available on request. Please note that you can be dropped off at the a barking Crab restaurant which is a short walk across the river from Legal Seafood restaurant. Make sure you schedule the shuttle back to the airport ahead of time just to make sure it is not full when you want it. Check out was as expected from a Hilton property. Al in all a good stay.
