“Perfect stay”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Stayed just one night, but this was a great value. Chic decor, quiet as a library in my "courtyard view" room. Didn't mind not having a street-facing window. Extremely comfy bed and nice extras like a fridge and parking validation at a garage nearby. I liked the unconventional exposed brick and nicely-tiled enclosed shower. Great location for exploring Boston. Would definitely stay again. Photos online didn't do it justice.

Great location nr harbour and Quincy Market. The rooms are good, reasonably spacious but some can be noisy (we stayed twice) so take time to check location or ask for a quiet room. No breakfast available but there are plenty of options nearby.
There are walkup pc's in the lobby.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet one away from the lifts

I had a reservation to stay at the Harborside Inn this past weekend but had a family emergency and could not make the trip from NYC to Boston. I am very disappointed to say that the hotel would not cancel, refund or allow us to reschedule our reservation. Very disappointing ....they lost our business in the future.

This hotel is in a perfect location just round the corner from Faneuil Hall. It is easy to get to from the airport by taking the T to the Aquarium stop. The hotel is right by this station.

Reception is modern and the staff are friendly and informative. There are multiple PC's to use in the reception area and there is also a nice lounge area.

The room I had was on the interior 'courtyard', so although there wasn't much natural daylight, the room was well lit and didn't feel enclosed at all. It was large with a huge double bed, TV, and safe to store your valuables. The room was stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. There is also free WiFi in the rooms.

The shower room was lovely. It had a very modern design and the shower was wonderful.

There is a bar next to the reception of the hotel, where there is also a Starbucks if you want to grab a quick breakfast, but there are a limitless number of places nearby too for you to eat and drink.

This place is well worth the money, and actually one of the better priced places in Boston.

Stayed from March 14th until the 18th and could not have had a better location to participate in many of the St Patrick's Weekend celebration. For anyone visiting, the convienience of the subway stop outside cannot be beat! Within walking distance to see the Bruins at the Gardens or a quick ride on the T to Fenway . The South Church and Freedom Trail are a short walk away .
It was our second stay there in the last two years and once again we left happy .Renos are completed and the place looks great .The room was very comfortable and clean., the staff friendly and helpful ( yes even Steve lol).
Kudos to all at the Harborside

Room Tip: Top floors are very quiet. No issue waiting for an elevator.

For the price this is unbeatable and was by far one of the best hotels I stayed in while in the US. It's also one of the few hotels, that really has character and it not your standard hotel as many in the chain hotels.
I love the idea of the restaurant and bar being open to the public and really makes it lively. Great thing is that the bar has it's own entrance and it's not as if loads of people walls through the reception area to get there.
The room I had was really big, with a great TV as well as a DVD player. The bathroom is of a reasonable size and also was one of the few hotels that didn't have a shower/ bath combo, but a big shower only. Over all the room is hard to beat, even for some 4 star hotels I stayed in.
I understand that there are different rooms types according to the window. My room had a window to the inside of the building, but it didn't really matter.

Thsi hotel is a boutique hotel that has an array of different rooms. We choose a room without windows in the basement for the kids and it was a great room. Spacious with a giant TV, this room was loved by our kids (cabin 2). As for us we rented a room with a interior view. The rooms were clean and confortable but a bit overheated. Everything was efficient. The Aquarium station ins directly in front of the hotel and you are across the street from Faneuil hall market place were you can eat anything. Parking is pricey, the hotel has special deal with the 75 state street parking but i think there is a better deal around.

Room Tip: Choose a room without windows or with an interior view. You will pay less and have good quality...
