Yes, you've probably heard these words before but the Harborside Inn really hits it home. Our first time to Boston and enjoyed the "walk-ability" of the city and the Harborside puts you right in the middle of it all.

The hotel staff and accommodations were great. Clean & comfortable. Recommend that you ask for a "city view" room that has a window ... unless you're a late sleeper or vampire;)

Across the street from Quincy Market, a short walk to Little Italy & more.

Recommend walking to Little Italy and stopping for cannoli's at Mike's Bakery. You'll see many people carrying small boxes around.

Room Tip: A cool lobby bar too!

We stayed here one night before we flew out. It was a great location to get one day's worth of sight-seeing in. We had a basement room, so no windows, but it was just fine because it allowed our toddler to sleep in since it was so dark. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Room Tip: If you aren't interested in a view then go for the basement cabins.

I was recently in Boston on business and our assistant book this hotel for two nights based on price. The room I was given was on the inside with a small window into a common open center space - felt like a large closet. The management was able to change this over to an exterior room the next evening. Overall the room and bed were comfortable. Having said this, the location was great. Short walk to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and the harbor area. Recommend trying the Black Rose Irish pub just down the street!

Room Tip: Ask for an exterior view room,

As many previous reviewers have said, the real plus factor with this hotel is location, being only a couple of minutes walk from Quincy Market.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious but you needed to be very tall and to stand on tip toes to see the city view!

Let down a little by not having a restaurant and very expensive, but I guess that's only to be expected in central Boston.

The Harborside Inn is located within minutes walking distance to Quincy Market, Long Wharf, the Old State House and so many other attractions! The "T" Aquarium stop is right outside the door. The hotel is a clean, comfortable property which is also more affordable than other hotels in the vicinity.

This modern hotel is located directly across from the Aquarium T stop, making it an ideal location for trips around the city and arriving/departing the airport (only a 5 min. subway ride). The rooms were very clean and super comfortable. There was even a small table and chairs in our room overlooking a great view of the city. Our room was a Queen City View and we did not think noise was a problem at all if this was something you are concerned about. The staff was also friendly and helpful. A new bar in the hotel is just finishing construction and should be open soon. The best part of this hotel is its proximity to some of the best sites in Boston. One block over is Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market, you are a 5min. walk from the North End (Little Italy), and you are right next to the New England Aquarium and many other tour stops along the wharf. Next time we visit Boston this will definitely be our first choice for a hotel! You cannot beat the price for such being in such a great area with these accommodations.

Nice and central hotel. Room was lovely and clean, staff very helpful. Slightly expensive for what I am used to but hotels in Boston are pretty dear. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend if you wanted a central hotel.
