This hotel is a great value for the money. It is a small hotel situated very near Quincy Market, The New England Aquarium, The North End, and the Financial District. It has a small lobby that is comfortable and equipped with free coffee and tea and comfortable seating to meet someone and have a conversation. The lobby has recently been refurbished.

The rooms are clean and modern with the required amenities (good towels, comfortable beds, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, and lotion). Note no shower cap or body wash so bring your own. Good flat screen tv, large mirror.

You can pull up in front of the hotel and unload your suitcases and check into your room. Then you move your car to a garage a couple of blocks away and you get a discount on that parking (It ends up to be $29 a day which is good for that garage and for Boston).

The staff has always been cordial and helpful.

There are no dining facilities or health club (they have an arrangement with a health club a few blocks away) but you are very close to lots of restaurants at Quincy Market.

I've stayed here many times and it has become my "go to" hotel in Boston. Not luxurious but a very good value. If you're going to spend a lot of time in your room or at your hotel, you should go to one of the bigger more expensive hotels in Boston. There are many.

I stayed here for my friends birthday and it was a great price the room was spotless and when one of my friends came to visit who was a male the front desk called up to make sure that I was expecting a male guest. I thought that was outstanding for the front desk to do. The next morning the staff was a little grumpy not really morning people but didn't ruin my trip.

sOOOO dissappointed by our experience. Stayed for one night only thankfully. Billed as a 'boutique' hotel....get real!
Pleasant reception staff who welcome you whilst workmen drill, paint and hammer around you. That was the warning to leave there and then.

A very large room that has no window on the outside world, only an internal onto the central concourse, consequently gloomy room with a stale smell!

No tea making facilities. Bathroom is a decent size but the shower failed to deliver. The towels were fraying along with our patience when the workmen started banging away at 8am.
On the plus side a large comfortable king size bed, excellent location although don't be misled to think you are located by the ocean.
All in all avoid unless you have money to burn and enjoy dissappointment.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

We wanted an affordable Hotel that was centrally located and boy did we hit on a gem!! Easy to get from/to airport on the blue line or make connections to other lines. Beautiful room that was extremely quiet. Now in the process of adding a restaurant, cafe and outside eating area. The remodeling process was not a problem in terms of noise or getting in and out.

We will come back.

Room Tip: We stayed in a king room on the 4th floor and it was very quiet.

The location of the hotel is a block from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, steps from the subway blue line, and across the street from the New England Aquarium. We used the Upper Deck hop on, hop off bus that had a stop at the Aquarium and it worked great. No breakfast at the hotel but Quincy Market worked fine. They are adding a martini bar and some other things at the hotel so the lobby is a construction zone. Our room was okay but the only appliance was a mini fridge in the closet.
