We went on a 3 day family trip to Boston and wanted to be near the historic district and T stops, but didn't want to pay a fortune. Boston isn't a big city. Downtown hotels are $250 and up per night. and there are not as many as say, NY or Philly. I booked this room for $189, still a bit high for a family, but parking is free and it was better than staying outside the city for us.

The hotel offers shuttles to the airport where you can catch the T and be around Fanueil Hall in less than 15 minutes. The hotel itself is very new, clean, attractive and quiet, given that it's near the airport. I travel a lot for work and this place surprised me. You can see planes take off from your room. Kind of fun to watch.

Free coffee and tea all day, small grocery area, including microwavable entrees, snacks and drinks. Restaurant on site. Short drive to the Boston Common Parking Garage.

Ended up at this property for an unscheduled overnight at Boston, although arrival at the hotel was in the middle of the night, the staff was very organized and attentive. There was a nice coffee bar set up in the morning, and there is a small town nearby within walking distance for eateries, etc. The room was comfortable and clean, with no issues.

We stayed here 12 June prior to a cruise; thus, we did not have a car. The hotel shows its age and needs a serious update. Our problem, however, was with the restaurant and the manager, Brian. Saturday night dinner was acceptable, if overpriced. Service was adequate, at best. Next morning--another story. There was a small convention of chiropractors on site. We tried to go to breakfast and found that every table was dirty. Brian eventually offered seats at the bar. There were two servers on duty, neither of whom seemed able to comprehend that clearing tables would be a good idea. One said to the other, "What do you need me to do?" How about clear tables?? We asked for menus; Brian suggested that we have the buffet--at $15 per person. I can't justify $30 plus tips for breakfast! We got up and left and I went to the front desk and asked for a manager. Guess who the manager on duty was? Brian, of course! I complained and he offered to now show me a menu if I went back to the restaurant. I declined and told him exactly why. His expression told me he didn't care one way or the other. With a car, we could have traveled to a shopping center about a mile up a very busy road. Instead, we decided to have a granola bar from a little store in the lobby--at the reasonable price of $7.00! Again we declined, and went hungry that day until noon. A complaint to corporate by telephone resulted in an email from Justin Smith, who somehow decided that adding 5000 points to my account would solve the issue and satisfy me--not a chance, since I plan to never stay at a Marriott again. A secondary complaint is now registered and I told them that I don't want points, which are useless, as is the assurance that Brian is "usually a strong member of our team and provides a high level of customer service for our guests." Brian seems to find guests a total inconvenience. Find another chain if you're in Boston--or sleep in the car.

For 330 a night, things should be in good repair

-window AC unit broken, compressor loud, and shot
-mirror cracked
-bathroom lock falling away from plaster

My faith in Marriott has taken a huge hit.

We ventured to Boston for the Memorial Day weekend. The cost for hotels in downtown Boston were insane. The Marriott Courtyard Boston Logan Airport is literally a stone throw away from downtown for 1/2 the price. There is a OW $3.50 toll to get downtown but in comparison to what we would have paid had we stayed downtown it's worth it.

The hotel is clean, modern and the staff is friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again.
