The Midtown is in a perfect location for tourist visitors. The hotel had on site parking and close to Bostons excellent public transport system, so you can leave the car and avoid the notorious traffic problems.
We were two couples and took the "Freedom Trail" package at $220 for room, free parking and breakfast plus the guided "freedom trail" walking tour. The second night was at a reduced rate of $135 plus tax.
We had a two day trolly pass which we bought in the hotel lobby and the trolly stop was only two blocks or so away.
The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful, however it is very dated in the finishes and fixtures. The location more than anything else makes a stay here very worth while and the cost is substantially less than the "name" hotels neareby.
