We have stayed in many fine resorts/hotels throughout the US and many other places but this may be our favorite. A gem right in the heart of downtown Boston. The one bedroom villas are perfect, especially for a couple, and are decorated beautifully. The history of the Custom House is quite interesting so take the tour offered. Plus getting there from Logan is a breeze on the Blue Line Train.
And as always the Marriott folks were over the top.

Room Tip: Room 1602 overlooked the Harbor and down town

Friendly service, fantastic downtown Boston and harbor views and recently refreshed makes this a wonderful spot for a food or wine weekend. Everything in easy walking distance..but get a map or app to find places on the crooked streets for dinner, shows or business. A favorite for rewards club members, but may take outside reservations during slacker times.

This pearl is not only elegant but steeped in history. The staff is cheerfully receptive to any needs one might have and even give tours to share the history. The units are very large and tastefully decorated with a colonial theme. The kitchenette and upstairs laundry make it very convenient for any length of stay. It's excellent location makes all of Boston accessible by foot or public transportation. What a pearl!

My wife and I spent two days at the Custom House and really enjoyed the experience. The property is beautifully maintained and centrally located for sightseeing. The property offers some of their own tours (some for a small fee) and you are also within a short walking distance of other commercial tours. The property is located near many historic landmarks (Paul Revere’s house, the Old North Church, the Old State House and the Granary Burial Ground). Boston’s North End is also close by and offers numerous great Italian restaurants. Additionally, you are steps away from Boston’s waterfront. The property is 26 stories high and offers magnificent views of the city. We’re going back next year. There is one proviso – there are only 80+ units so availability is an issue. Book early!

Room Tip: It's a timeshare so specifying a room is difficult. Property is 26 stories tall, so the higher the better.

As a “Marriott Owner” the “Boston Custom House” had been on our “Bucket List” for years almost ever since we joined Marriott.
The iconic building & location make it a must do stay for any Marriott owner.
As with all Marriott locations we have stayed at we have always received 5* service & the staff at the Boston Custom House go even further to make your stay even more special. My special thanks go Hazel, Grafton, Kandie, Rachael & the rest of the team for a superb stay.
The tour around the building was excellent & the “Observation Deck” is amazing, just sit for an hour & watch Boston alive. Also the John Adams Court House is also a must do tour.
A central location for the “Freedom Trail” which is a superb walk though America & British history.
I can’t recommend this walk enough.
Along with easy access to the Wharf-side areas & Market Area all with vast array of food & drink offers.
The “Boston Custom House is a special residence with superb staff.
My one tip is if you are flying into Boston get the “Water Taxi” to & from the airport, a great way to see the city skyline.
