I have stayed in every four and five star hotel in Boston for both business and pleasure. By far, XV Beacon is THE place to stay. The hotel is perfectly situated. The rooms are unique, with a gas fireplace, and include every amenity one could ask for. The staff and concierge were extremely accommodating, providing those extra personal touches which make all the difference in the world.

Simply an amazing place. We arrived before noon, just hoping to be able to leave our luggage before exploring Boston. Not only was a room made available, we were also upgraded to the next largest room! Each member of the staff was tremendous and made themselves available to anything you might need. The room was immaculate and was impressed that even the smallest of details were addressed for your comfort. Great location one block from Boston Common and resides on the Freedom Trail.

This hotel is a true gem and one if its kind. I would call it a "boutique" hotel - a small hotel that is nestled in the beautiful area of Beacon Street in Boston. Upon arrival, we were greeted at our car, helped out and escorted into the hotel, while our luggage promptly removed and brought in for us and our car parked - all without lifting a finger. The person at the desk was FRIENDLY and greeted us with a huge smile. He asked us our name and was expecting us and was able to immediately locate our reservation without a second's delay. The decor was so interesting and different and it was funky with a classy edge. We felt very at home there. We found our room and seconds later were greeted with a fruit and cheese platter. The attendant brought up our luggage and clothing shortly thereafter. While putting my hanging pants on his luggage rack, a $20 fell out of my pocket and he told me this and handed me the $20 when he brought our things to our room. He could have pocketed that pocket money, but didn't! (So, we gave it to him). Our room was luxurious and well-appointed. We even had a button next to our bed that lit the fireplace. Throughout our entire stay, we were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. (our last name) and were taken care of exquisitely. This is a true treasure, with customer service unlike any other hotel. If you can afford it, you should definitely consider it. The whole experience was just marvelous!

Without a doubt, the best hotel we've stayed in! We can't say enough about it. The service and attention to us was impeccable. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff made us feel like royalty, as if we were the only ones in the hotel. The bartenders in Moo Restaurant were fun and mixed a great drink. Breakfast was out of this world! Cannot wait to go back again.

We had a Huge Room overlooking the street towards the park. It had a nice King bed, Fireplace and great bath room. We loved the location and felt it was easy to get around from a public transportation view. We utilized the hotels concierge quite a bit and also the hotel car to go to dinner. We would stay here without a doubt next time in Bean Town. We stayed at 3 other hotels to check out the scene and found this to be the best.

We were in Boston for sightseeing and had elected to stay at XV Beacon based on other reviews. We were not disappointed (except for the view from the room).

The room was very nicely finished with a four poster queen-sized bed, HDTV and a fireplace--which turned out to be a great amenity since it was cool and wet in Boston on the day we arrived. While the room was very nice, the two things that make this hotel stand out are the location (one block from Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail), but more importantly, the people. From the doorman who actually seemed happy to see you and eager to help, to the concierge who always had a map and a suggestion, to the bartender who can make some great martini's and seemingly keep 3 conversations going at the same time--all were exceptional! We will definitely go back.

Beacon XV could be one of the best places i have stayed. They go above and behond in every detail. From the moment you walk in to getting to your room, you are treated like royalty. Everyone there is eagar to help you. The rooms are tastefully done. We enjoyed being able to set a time for room service in the morning, and having a driver at our disposal. It is a little pricy, but well worth it. I would highly reccomend staying there i fyou have a chance.
