“Seaport WTC Rocks”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed the service, hospitality, food and outstanding event support from the team at the Seaport Hotel. Our company hosted 600 guests for 3 days at the Seaport WTC and I have never seen such a coordinated team and high class banquest services. I would highly recommend checking out the hotel and WTC for your next even in Boston.

I checked in during the evening on a Sunday and was helped by a trainee through the process. She was friendly but some of the things she told me didn't make sense but I understood anyway. The room I had 1022 was night with a view of the harbor, but close to the elevator where you heard a lot of traffic. Ordered room service and the chicken soup didn't have mushy noodles and the salad was fresh. Had a massage at wave and found the masseuse to be great. They have an all tips included policy which is interesting. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, excellant food, enjoyed dinner and breakfasts, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice clean bedrooms. Not sure about the location. There are many nice restaurants nearby and you can walk into the city from the hotel yet it still feels like you are on the outskirts. We stayed there twice, first time for two nights at the start of a trip around New England, we took taxis everywhere that we wanted to go which was expensive. We stayed there again on the return leg of our journey and I asked about public transport and the concierge couldn't have been more helpful in showing us where to go, we ended up getting around this way and found it much more economical, if only we had asked at the start of our trip. The hotel also has a nice pool which our three kids loved, very nice dressing rooms, and complimentary juice and fruit at the pool reception. The also got a complimentary toy at the start of each hotel stay (the choice was a teddy for themselves or a dog toy, they found this highly amusing and on our first stay took the teddies for themselves but on our second choose a toy for our dog back home). I would recommend this hotel.
There is no tipping at this hotel which we loved. It is included in your rate and if you try to tip the staff refuse to accept it.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, and for making Seaport the starting and ending points for your New England visit. The Seaport District is the burgeoning neighborhood in Boston and with our on-site MBTA station, public transit is a convenient and economical way to explore the city. We love welcoming young visitors to the hotel as well as dogs, and hope to see you again.

Easy check-in. Very friendly staff... At first, they gave us a room with a King bed since I booked through Priceline but they switched us to a room with 2 double beds when I told them we were 2 guys going to game 4 @ TD Garden. When we returned around 2AM my friend asked the front desk and they gave him a menu of a restaurant that would deliver to our room. And the next morning when we checked out I was surprised to learn that we had until midnight to leave the parking garage before being charge another day. I was only asking if we could leave around 2PM or had to get out by checkout time (12PM)...

only thing, and it really isn't much, on the bill, we were charged 33$ for parking which is fine, 0,75$ for the local call to the restaurant at 2AM + 0,05$ telecom tax and a 3$ hotel and service fees (for what? i couldn't tell you if my life depended on it). overall paying 36,80$ for hotel parking in Boston isn't bad so I don't mind. but I think some people (especially those paying full price for the room) might get upset at those unexpected charges. getting an extra 4$ is really worth the risk of getting a bad review ?? not in my mind but I'm not running the place...

location was good, right across from the T. free wifi was excellent. I would come back...

We stayed two nights in this hotel, and enjoyed our stay very much. Some of the things we liked about the hotel:
- parking was convenient (garage entrance off Congress street in the back), relatively inexpensive for Boston ($33 per day, for self-parking), with unlimited entrances/exits. Also, the parking pass was good up until midnight of the day we checked out, handy if you want to use the rest of the day to explore the Seaport area.
- all-inclusive policy was nice. I never know how much you're supposed to tip everybody...
- the Seaport area seems vibrant and alive (what a change from say 10-15 years ago!). Many nice restaurants in the area, lots of things to do, and lots of people on the streets.
- easy to hop on the T (silver line) from this hotel
- fitness room was nice, no extra fee for using it, & didn't seem that crowded
- free wifi, with no complicated passwords/security, etc.

The room itself was pretty average (I liked the heated mirrors in the bathrooms!), and the view was pretty dull. But everything was neat and tidy, and in good working order.

Room Tip: I think rooms with a harbor view would be the nicest, as high up as possible.
