“excellent location and staff”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

My husband and I stayed here recently for a week. The location is ideal: close to many attractions and to the subway line that takes one quickly and easily to the airport. We were upgraded to a suite that was very nice. Having windows that open is great. The hotel's amenities are wonderful, including five newspapers, high-end toiletries and bathrobes. All staff members are friendly and professional and the hotel itself is quiet, allowing for a peaceful sleep. We will definitely stay at this hotel during our next visit.

Room Tip: A high floor away from elevators and the vending machine

Worth staying here for the location alone -- very convenient walking distance to so many of the tourist-y things. I'd stay here again simply for that reason - location is really quite ideal. The rooms were fine - nothing amazing, but yet nothing bad - everything worked fine (lights, TV, Internet) and the beds were comfortable. They were large rooms, which is always nice, but the bathroom was small and I can see that frustrating some people. Room service staff was great, but the food ... not so much. Bell staff was very quick & friendly; front desk staff just as good - professional and welcoming. I am not sure how the rates compare to other similar hotels in the same area as I was travelling on the company tab so not doing the same type of cost comparison I would do if I were travelling personally, so can't comment on the rates. Nice open, bright lobby; handy little concession area in the lobby to buy sundries and such. The very best thing about this hotel was definitely the location, but can't find anything to complain about .. .so ... yes, I recommend.

Perfect location, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price... Provided early check in, got the e-Standby Upgrade, and had a pleasant experience. Will stay at this hotel again next time I am in the Boston area.

Great place for a weekend trip to Boston. Very good location and within easy walking distance to Quincy Market, North End, Freedom Trail, and the Aquarium. The downside is, I don't understand why the Hilton chain refuses to offer free Wi-Fi to their guests.

We stayed at the Hilton with our (2) daughters and had a nice big room with vaulted ceilings. Great location within walking distance to most tourist sites, restaurants, etc. The staff was quite possibly one of the best that we've encountered during our considerable travels.

I was attending meetings in Boston and brought my family along. It was all our first time to Beantown. As others have commented, this hotel is convenient to many of Boston's popular attractions. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite, which was very nice, but it is still an expensive hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My lone disappointment was the business center. It has the basics, but otherwise is poorly equipped for a hotel in the business district.

The Downtown Financial District Hilton Hotel provided a great location for my son and I to leave our car in valet parking and walk for the 2 days we were on our vacation! Easy access to all the great areas and restaurants and shopping around Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. We had great accommodations and the concierge secured our Boston Duck ride tours for us as well!
