Beautiful location. Close to the airport and beautiful views. Shuttle picked us up at the airport and also the airport location for the subway. The room was quiet and comfortable and the bed good. The restaurant was very good but spendy. There was only enough coffee in the room to make BARELY one cup of coffee. We had a very early morning flight and not enough coffee for both of us. Yes, it is available in the lobby; we were on the 14th floor. The little packet provided just didn't cut it for us.

Lovely hotel with great views and water taxi to the city goes right from the back door. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very yummy. The staff were attentive and helpful. Great hotel but is not cheap (even by London prices).

This is the second time we have stayed here. For a big and busy city hotel, the staff makes you feel so special and important. They are so friendly. You don't feel like you are in a big city hotel. The rooms are spacious for a city hotel. The restuarant is fantastic with the most beautiful view of the city across the harbor. You can easily take the water taxi downtown until 10 p.m. So no need to drive in the city. Upon check in they gave our kids a care package with crayons, coloring book and stuffed animal, totally free and unsolicited. Everyone is so terrific. Love staying here. And even though you can see planes taking off (which my son loves), it is very quiet.

Room Tip: The harborside is more expensive. We always face the airport because my kids enjoy watching the pla...

We flew to Boston from Charleston,SC a day before our NCL Dawn cruise to Bermuda so we could spend a day in Boston. We took an early flight and arrived in Boston about 9:45AM. We booked a room at the Hyatt Boston Harbor which was next to the airport and right across the harbor from Boston’s North End.
Our stay at Hyatt Boston Harbor far exceeded our expectations. We only waited about 3-5 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. The shuttle driver was friendly and shared his knowledge of the city also offering recommendations for dining. The two gentlemen at the front desk Louie and Roberto were by far the two best people we have ever encountered during a hotel stay, and we travel quite a bit. These guys made us feel as if we were the two most important guests in the hotel. They let us check-in as soon as we got there and put us in a hypoallergenic room which was beautiful, roomy, clean and had a great view of the Harbor and Boston. The water taxi could not have been more convenient. We wished we had more than a day there before heading out on our cruise. We took the water taxi over to Boston. Tickets are $17.00 each but Louie and Roberto at the front desk gave us two free round trip passes! Once off the taxi we headed up to Hanover Street where there are tons of Italian restaurants and bakeries. We took our shuttle drivers advise and headed to Modern Bakery to try their Lobster Tail which was delicious! Handmade, crispy shells shaped into a lobster tail filled with their "lobster tail cream" composed of homemade whipped cream, yellow cream, and ricotta cheese. We got one and split it. From there we strolled through the streets up to the Old North Church, which is where the lanterns were used to warn how the British were coming; one if by land….
Time for more food! We headed to Neptune Oyster, also recommended by the folks at the hotel. We had a Maine Lobster Roll and a bowl of Boston Clam Chowder. The Lobster Roll was okay, I think we could have had just as good for half the price somewhere else, but the chowder was excellent.
From there we saw a few more sites went to Qunicy Market and then headed back over to the Italian district for dinner. On the way we stopped by The Green Dragon Tavern, where we met Michael Szkola who is a tour guide / historian for Lessons in Liberty, a walking tour company. He was sitting at the bar, still in his British red coat garb and as we came in the seats next to him became available so we sat next to him and had a great time. We sat for a while chatting and drinking Green Monsta IPA, ummmm! Once again it was time to eat and we wondered the streets ending up at Regina Pizza. It was the best pizza I’ve had since leaving New York back in ’97. The place was packed , but service was excellent and our wait was short, any wait would have been worth it.
After dinner we headed back to our hotel and as we entered our room we found a bottle of wine along with a nice card from the guys down at the front desk. I’m telling you they were awesome. After a great night’s sleep we got up and headed to the cruise ship which was about 15-20 minutes by taxi from the hotel.
By far the Hyatt Boston Harbor was one of our best hotel experiences.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the city.

This is our hotel of choice when arriving in Boston and have stayed there c10 times. Unfortunately you sometimes have to wait quite a while for a shuttle which is disappointing after a long trip.
Check in is very professional and quick. Rooms are comfortable and just what you hope for. Bar and restaurant also just what you hope for. We have never had any complaints regarding our stay.
Great views of Boston are nice to wake up to and taking a water taxi is easy and a fun way of getting into town.
We would highly recommend the Hyatt if staying in the airport area of Boston

Room Tip: Highly recommend a room with a city view. Also request one of the "quiet" floors - we have...

Great help and concern with medical emergency. Beautiful view of Boston harbor. Restaurant Expensive but worth it. You can eat on the patio with a fire pit table and lovely harbor views. Easy access to the airport via shuttle and downtown Boston via water taxi.
