We just stayed 3 nites at the hotel. We did not request any particular service so can only say we have no complaints regarding service. If was however , just a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Room was clean, beds comfortable, shower included a hand held shower and pressure and water temperature were good. It is connected to Copley place mall and prudential center so mall after mall and shop after shop without ever having to go outside. We stayed on a higher floor with an incredible view of the river And Cambridge. We would definitely stay again if prices stay reasonable.

We had a great stay. The location had great access to the "T", the Boston transit system, we were there for a week, so buying a week's pass made it possible to see everything we wanted to very easily. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the room was quiet. Our only complaint was that the room was warm and hard to cool down. The staff were great, both at the check-in desk and concierge desk, as well as the the cleaning staff. The fitness centre was also large and well equipped.

We've stayed here pretty often. We generally like Starwood properties. But something has gone radically wrong at the Boston Copley.

On our latest trip, the sink was stopped and disgusting. Worse, the sheet had a huge stain on it (which we didn't notice until the next morning). These are housekeeping issues, and the care with which a property maintains a clean environment is, in my mind, probably the best indicator of its real quality. The hotel has gotten way behind on maintenance and upkeep and is in dire need of updating and some real quality checks on its housekeeping.

A while ago, we found the Hotel Commonwealth. That has now become our first choice in Boston. The Copley is, frankly, no longer our "go to" Boston spot. Now, it won't even be our backup to the Commonwealth. There are lots of fine hotels in Boston. A Westin that's not at the top of its game better figure on losing clientele. It's lost us!

The service was outstanding. Even though we were traveling as a family with kids and not as business executives we were treated impeccably well by every staff member we encountered. We were given a lovely room with a wonderful view of the Charles River. It was clean and luxuriously comfortable. The kids enjoyed all the fancy design touches in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey even with the free vouchers for the children, but it was excellent. We were splurging on this short vacation, so it didn't matter. The kids loved the pool and the exercise facilities were great. Easy access to the T from this location and nice to be able to access Copley Place for dining and shopping from the indoor walkways, especially with the February freezing rain we encountered during our visit. Wish we could do it all again!

I have stayed at the Westin Copley a few times and it is a very nice hotel in a great location. However, prospective guests should keep in mind, when comparing hotels, that the Westin charges its guests $49 per night to use the valet service. If you have a car, there is basically no alternative so you feel like they take advantage by luring guests at decent rates for a quality hotel and then banging them with high parking rates.

I am pleased to read that you enjoyed your time with us. I realize that parking seems high, but I assure you that it is in line with the other hotels and garages in the area. I hope that this won't discourage you from staying with us again. We look forward to seeing you.
