Booked club room that was supposed to include complimentary drinks, breakfast and happy hour treats . Room was comfortable with decent views. Bed also comfortable. Whole hotel stay went downhill when we were advised staff on strike. No food for guests, no rooms being cleaned. By day 4 we complained that room had not been cleaned so we were offered one free nights stay. They did manage to clean the room for the remainder of the stay but the advertised complimentary facilities never materialised. I shall think twice before I stay at a Marriott hotel again.

We toured Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont and Connecticut. I t was a trip of a lifetime. The Acadia national park was beautiful and we did a 1 hour carriage ride, we visited the Rockwell museum,Billings farm and the breathtaking Mystic seaport. The white mountains were also spectacular

We arrived to wailing fire trucks pulling up outside and hordes of protestors banging drums and blowing whistles. Protesting about minimum wage I think. The reception desk did not explain what was going on or the fact that the fire department had evacuated the whole hotel, it was left to other guests to tell us. Turned out to be a false alarm but it wasn’t a reassuring start to our visit. Things went downhill from there when we were shown to a small and grubby room on the 23rd floor which had the distinct odour of stale, sour carpets and dirty furnishings. The bed linen was clean and the breakfast the following morning was quite good but I wouldn’t stay there again.

On a cross country trip through the New England States we stopped at the Sheraton Back Bay for 5 nights. From the minute we pulled into the registration area, we were greeted like royalty. The valets were fast and courteous. Check in was a breeze with the same friendly service. Our room, or should I say rooms, were extremely comfortable. The view from our panorama of windows - breathtaking. All around. I would give this property an A+.

Needed 20 rooms for a trip with family and friends to see the Mets play the Redsox.
Had an issue at another hotel and called here and they went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. The hotel seems to be recently renovated and everything was impeccable. I would recommend this hotel and will be staying there on our next trip to Boston
