Do Not Stay here!! The Sheraton has been dependable in the past. Not anymore!! My wife and I came to see the Red Sox and spend a night getting room service. Well, the Sheraton in Boston has no room service. That’s right, no room service in the entire hotel. I also had to bring my own bags to our room because they are not offering that service either. We paid a premium price for this hotel room and we are being offered nothing but the room. There are many hotels to choose from in Boston so avoid this one. You are reading reviews so that you do not have a bad stay in Boston. Do not ignore this review!! Do NOT stay at the Sheraton. A hotel should not charge $550.00 for a room and offer no services whatsoever. But, if we continue to buy their rooms, they will continue to screw us. Here is one couple who will NEVER return.

In need of an update. Lobby and rooms felt outdated. The staff were on strike as well. Made for noisy entrances and exits. Bed was decent. Rooms are small with low ceilings. Had a nice TV.
Good location.

Dear John F,

Thank you for choosing us for your visit to Boston. We are please to know you enjoyed our location in the thriving neighborhood of Back Bay. However, we are disappointed the overall appearance of our hotel and room size were not what you desired. We schedule our renovations on a rotating basis, and will forward your feedback to the team in charge of our property development. We hope you will choose us again when your travels bring you back to the area!

We thought this hotel would be great being a Sheraton. So disappointing as the rooms we had had a stale smell about them. In my bathroom the hair conditioner bottle was half full and it was obvious that it had been used. The towels were old and having shower curtains is unhygienic. My friends bath had pubic hair in it. The standards in this hotel are not good and the hotel in general has no character.
Would not choose to stay at a Sheraton hotel again.

The rooms in this hotel are really straight from the 80's. We stayed a few nights here and a few nights across the street at the Hilton Back bay. The rooms at the Hilton were recently renovated and we were shocked when we saw the rooms at the Sheraton. Nonetheless, the Sheraton had its pluses. The first big plus is that it is connected to a shopping mall, so we could eat out and entertain our kids even when it was pouring rain. Another plus is the large well equipped gym and pool. Finally, the staff was very nice and helped us get affordable transportation to the airport.

I was there for a business meeting and there is strike going on and it was very noisy and when I asked a manager about it he told me it was no big deal, I think if the staff is striking it’s a big deal, the service was very slow and you could tell people were scrambling around, not a good look.
