“Wow for that price!!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

We stayed here on New Year's Eve Eve and had just a splendid time. The check in was pleasant enough, although we were hoping for an early check in at 12:30PM. The room was immaculate and spacious and the service was quite good as well. We did have trouble with the air conditioning system which seemed to be trapped at 72 degrees. At the price we paid through priceline this was a fabulous value.

Nice place. Easy to get to, parking all around. Rustic Kitchen good for late night food. Front desk staff at Revere very helpful- Lyndsy- with helping fix our Priceline snafu. Rooms have an actual balcony which is rare, bathrooms nice and in good shape. Lobby of hotel very unique.

We stayed two nights after Christmas. Greeted with champagne on check-in (it wasn't New Years). Easy garage parking at $34 per 24 hours. Spacious room with 2 Queen beds and a sliding patio door which opened onto a small balcony.

I used the indoor rooftop pool. Shallow but in a warm, sunny location plus there is a nice separate area adjacent to the pool with comfy chairs and a TV...to relax.

The location is great. Walked to Boston Commons, Beacon Hill, Quincy Market and the theater district.

Personally, I was overwhelmed by the scents on everything in the hotel. I'm sensitive to such...if you like spending 24 hours in a Yankee Candle store, you will love it.

The hotel staff was exceptional. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

I felt I just had to write and say a huge thank you to the Revere Hotel in Boston for making our recent stay such a pleasure. We were fortunate to stay for 7 nights in a Junior Suite and it was amazing. I was a little surprised to read the previous review with regards to poor service and quality of room. We also stayed in a suite near to the elevator and yes we could hear it swooshing up and down but it was far from a problem to us. The quality of the room was amazing and the service was excellent, in particular from , John, Ann Marie, Kylie and Cynthia, nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in Boston previously but enjoyed it this time by far the most. The hotel is in close proximity to Boston common, the ice rink, and the movie house if your looking for a chilled night. There are ample bars and restaurants and everywhere is really within walking distance. There is ample taxies, but take a duck tour and just hop off and on, its much easier. We will be back, our Christmas started on Christmas eve and we were welcomed by a glass of champagne and huge personalities, brilliant !!!

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor in a suite which was near the elevator, if you are sensitive to noise may...

The Hotel is in a brilliant location. The room was clean, decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. The air con/heating worked perfectly and was easy to control. Wardrobe space was good and the fleece blankets were a nice touch.

The only thing that disappointed me slightly was the charge for bottled water. No-one told us there was a charge at check in and there were no tariffs on display in the room. From past experience if they leave a bottle by the bed in these circumstances it is free. Go to the shop over the road if you want water without the big bill!

Other than that, an excellent hotel

Was in Boston for business staying at the W Boston and the girlfriend surprised me with a visit, I guess we'll be spending Nye in Boston. She got a great deal at the Revere Hotel which was next to the W. We had drinks at the Emerald lounge and we loved everything about it. Very New york - Miami feel without the attitude. The bartender Aldo was very accommodating and told us about the Clinton Sparks party which we attended. Definitely an Awesome Party! We couldn't get tickets to the Nye Bash but he was able to get us links to the Studio 57 party which was in the same hotel AMAZING!!! WILL DEFINITELY RAVE ABOUT THIS HOTEL AND HOPE TO BE BACK !!!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights just after Christmas. I had told the hotel it was her birthday and there was a chocolate mousse cake and sparkling water waiting for us in the room. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat the cake and asked twice to have a box or bag to put it in. Both times the hotel said they would send someone up with a box but never did. A small thing. The room was beautiful with nice lighting and a great view (21st floor)- they said it was an upgraded room.
The bathroom was small but well equipped with 6 different pump bottles of bath and shower products in the tub and 3 more lotions/hand cleaners by the sink! Very nice products. Big fluffy towells. Cool drinking glasses with painted designs on them were in the bathroom. Nice small touches like an umbrella and lint brush in the closet and slippers. They offer champagne at reception when you are checking in!
The location in the theatre district is excellent. Plenty of restaurant choices. The indoor pool area is very nice and would be great when the weather is warm because there is a large terrace to sit in the sun right outside the pool area.
I definitely recommend a room away from the elevator. I saw similar comments from other reviewers but could not really understand why they said that but now I know. I have never been around such a noisy elevator. We had the room right next to the elevator bank and every time the elevator moved you heard it. Trust me, ask for a room away from the elevator.
All in all, a great experience and we will definitely stay here again. I should say we got a very good deal ($119 a night) which is why we stayed here. We usually stay at the Hyatt, which I love, but my wife really liked the Revere.

Room Tip: up high away from the elevator!
