The Parker House used to be our go to hotel when visiting Boston, back before children, due to it's central location, quiet, attentive staff and the grown up bar and restaurant. Three children later, it's nice to know that we might have changed, but the things that we appreciated most about the Parker house, haven't.

On a surprise trip to Boston, our kids were impressed from the moment our car door was opened to the moment it was closed on our exit. The staff were always asking if our kids were having a great time, and what could they do to make it better. They even gave our girls tri-corn hats as souvenirs!!

Our room was huge (compared to some rooms we've had at the Parker as a couple) with very comfortable beds and a pull-out sofa bed. Although there was a large wedding in the hotel, with many wedding guests on our floor, we had a very quiet night. The bathroom was tiny, but did it's job and the shower's water pressure was notable.

It was great to roll-out in the morning and have Starbucks and Bruegger's just a few feet away, not to mention the 2 story Walgreen's (where Borders used to be) that had wine/beer/spirits, toothbrushes, cheese sticks, fruit plates, pretzels and bottled water. Don't forget to stop at Sweet Cupcakes, too.

Our girls loved stepping outside into the middle of the Freedom Trail, and even having our hotel pointed out during a Duck Tour. They loved the beautiful flowers, the chandeliers and even the old mail slots that we told them we used to use back in the day.... We walked to the Commons, Faneuil Hall and the North End. After dinner out and putting our oldest in charge, it was nice to sit in the hotel bar for a quiet nightcap, too! It didn't hurt that hotel had left them cookies and milk while we were out, too.

All in all, a great family trip and the Parker House and staff played a big role in the success of the weekend.

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor, not facing the street. Very quiet and water pressure was great!

Great hotel, clean , quiet, nice atmosphere. It is in an excellent location to tour around many of Bostons historic/tourist sites . Went to a hockey game at the TD Garden and it is an easy 10 minute walk.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Omni Parker Hotel. It's convenient location to T station made our trip to the Hynes easy and simple. Dinner in the Northend and Dancing at Ned Devine's was a perfect ending to a wonderful evening. The Omni Parker made our convention stay all that much more enjoyable.

Omni Parker House is my usual hotel when I am in Boston for business. Its very well located and the rooms are service are excellent. Boston is not cheap when it comes to good accommodation, but this hotel has a good value for money

The elegance of the lobby is enough to make me recommend this hotel. Then you add the excellent location two blocks from Boston Common, two blocks from the financial district and three blocks from the State House. All the staff were very friendly.

The Omni Parker Hotel in School St. Boston is very dated. Poor staff service and very noisy, hot and over priced. The shower water pressure was very low and the bathroom was tiny. It was $250 per night and really very poor value for money.

We couldn't have been more satisfied with the quality and location of the Omni Parker House hotel in Boston. The staff was wonderful and timely with whatever we requested. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we needed: train, convenience stores, banks, restaurants, and best of all the Freedom Trail and Boston Common! Will definitely stay there again.
