Omni Parker House is in the perfect location if you plan to explore Boston. This hotel is beautiful and so storied. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The room was quiet, clean and very nice. For those who are used to expansive, no character hotels...this is not the hotel for you. We found this to be a very charming, comfortable, and welcoming place. I am a runner and the front desk was more than happy to provide me with an awesome running route (4.1 miles). The fitness center was very nice and large. Would definitely stay here again. We were here for a four night stay and accommodations were excellent. Thank you Parker House and Boston for a great stay!

Room Tip: We were in 832. No view but very nice and quiet. Sign up for the Omni Select before you arrive and...

Still like the Omni chain though the New York one feels much more upscale. Room was large and comfortable but with incredibly small bathroom and somewhat noisy aircon. Corridors lack aircon and feel stuffy (not that it really matters).

Only one real complaint. I felt really hustled by the bellman (Richie) for a tip. He bought our bags into the lobby but because someone else was clearly going to bring them to the room he hung around and mentioned at least 3 times "I have your luggage here - 4 pieces". He didn't outright ask for a tip but it was clear what he was saying. I HATE THAT!! Surprising too as one of the reasons I like Omni hotels is the staff are always exemplary.

If you haven't checked yet, hotel prices in Boston are outrageous! We were directed to the Omni
by a friend because of it's great location. We felt that the price was acceptable and we dealt with
the hotel directly. The rooms are smaller because of the era when it was built but it was updated,
clean and quiet with the amenities one would expect. It is right on the freedom trail so if you are
into walking the area it is perfect. Many restaurants close by so we did not eat at the hotel. New
to the city so we took one of the bus tours and we would recommend it to get an overview of Boston. The concierge desk was very helpful and the entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to greet us, handle baggage, give directions etc.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floor near the back.

Thanks for your great comments about our hotel! (By the way, Boston hotel rates can seem steep, especially at this time of year when demand is high.) We hope to have you back again very soon!

My wife and I stayed here with our 16 month old daughter in early May and were extremely happy with the hotel. Thanks to travelzoo deals we had a great price for a Stately Executive Room and loved it. I was hesitant to book the room because with a child we need to have room to set up a space for her that is quiet while we dont have to go to bed at the same time, this room was perfect and had lots of room. Everything in the room was clean and well maintained while maintaining the historic feel of the hotel. The location is great for sight seeing around Boston and right down the street from Sam La Grassa's sandwich shop which is a must eat if you are in Boston. Save your money and dont bother with the Boston Creme pie they offer as a package deal as it is not all that it is cracked up to be. Very pleasant staff that was attentive and kind throughout the stay. We were very pleased to have this round out our vacation through the north east.

Stayed at the Omni Parker - it was a beautiful hotel. Centrally located and able to walk anywhere that I needed to go and felt safe in doing so. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Didn't utilize the minibar because of the expense but there is a Walgreens down the street and many restaurants in the area. The room was comfortable and suited my needs. Didn't feel closed in - had read where rooms were small. It was the size of any other rooms I have been in so I don't know what folks were expecting. It was expensive but compared to other hotels in Boston it was a good value for the location. Would definitely stay there the next time I go to Boston.

Great location in the heart of Boston. Beautiful dining room and a great bar. We've stayed there a couple of times - the first time our room was gorgeous - the 2nd time it was a little small and dated but we definitely will still go back.

One of the oldest Boston hotels, completely renovated. Room was comfortable and service was good. It's just steps from Boston commons and the harbor attractions, the aquarium and Fenueuil Hall. Good place to stay in a great city. Don't miss the whale watch ride from the wharf from the New England aquarium.
