Great location in central Boston close to almost everything. For example Quincy Market is 5-10 minute walking distance. Rooms are not huge but they're big enough, and everything is clean. Beds are very comfortable. Great staff, especially the concierge who is really helpful in suggesting restaurants and attractions.
All in all this is a good hotel.

We stayed at the Omni Parker House for 3 nights. We booked it through hotel's website - which had a best price for hotel and parking. Our room was on the 14 floor (1414). Rooms are on the smaller size (but we expected that, given the age of the hotel), but clean and we had a nice view. For a family of 4 (2 teen kids) it was cozy, but manageable. The location is perfect - within walking distance to many attractions and ferry terminals. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurants as there are many restaurants close by to choose from. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 1414 had a nice view

This hotel is historic, has a stunning entry, wonderful staff, but not for me. I am a new, modern, smell of air freshener hotel girl. If you love history and can't get enough at a museum then sleeping here would be for you. Rooms are very small but you are in Boston why would you want to be in your room. The heat/air system was loud and turned off and on all night. I saw every hour on the clock (garbage trucks pick up at 5am). The staff was great, a few native Bostonians that I love. Love you Seamus!! So convienent to all the great historic spots. Boston Cream Pie..YUM!

Room Tip: if you need white noise bring your own or you will not sleep.

A lovely old hotel in the heart of Boston, right on the freedom trail, so an unbeatable location. The rooms were nice, the staff friendly and the home of the original Boston cream pie, which just has to be tried. We joined the loyalty scheme before we travelled and that gave us free internet, plus some extra bits and pieces, so worth doing as its free to join. A really nice base to explore Boston from.

Outside of the guest rooms, the hotel is really nice. Great food at the restaurants and via catering, meeting rooms were bright and looked pretty. There are a lot of stairs because it's an old hotel, so there is always that element of dragging your suitcase up a short flight of stairs or two in heels... not so fun. But the ballrooms, restaurants, lobby are nice. And everyone who worked there was really helpful and nice.

Now for the guest rooms. Ick. Like I said, old hotel. The rooms are tiny. The closet smelled SO musty and moldy that I couldn't put anything in it or it would have permeated my clothing and I would have smelled like a nursing home. Room was dark, even with lights on. The bathroom was awful. Black mold lined the shower. Dirt was as ancient as the hotel, built up in corners and on the back of the door. The bathroom was so small that if I didn't exit exactly right, the door would bounce off the toilet and hit me in the head. There was really no place to put my toiletries, so I had to squish them on a tiny shelf over the toilet, from where everything continually fell. Some of the towels were weird too. Hard to explain, but not normal terry so that in one handwash the hand towel would be soaked and unusable again. The bed was really comfortable though, so that's my one positive comment on the guest rooms.

I filled out their survey after my stay, and their response was that it's a historic hotel and they can't help the room size. Fine, but at least go in there and hose it down, people! No excuse for historic dirt and mold.

I was in Boston on a conference in May and moved to the Omni Parker for a weekend in Boston with my husband. The room was quite small, but workable for a weekend with my husband as we didn't spend much time in the room. It is in a great location of the city for walking and sight seeing and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the ghost in the air conditioner that would cool the room down to about 5 degrees celcius and then turn off during the night so we would go from very cold to hot in the morning.

Room Tip: If you need a larger room, make sure you book one. It is a busy hotel and they don't typically...
