Had a great 6 day stay in room on main floor with 1 queen and 1 single. Nice to have outside deck to enjoy breakfast. Could have used a bit more variety for breakfast items- only toast, bagels, english muffins, 2 cereals, fruit, and 2 sweets- always the same every day, as well as coffee/tea. Would have liked muffins/scones, granola. Close to subway. Good service. Free Wi-Fi a very nice feature- most hotels charge for it.

Room Tip: Main floor room 118 is quite large.

This was a superb location, with some lovely staff. It was well positioned to find all the Boston based sights and very convenient for the Prudential Centre, City Tours and the fab Duck Tours. Breakfast, whilst basic was more than sufficient for what we needed and there was as much as you wanted. If you fancied a coffee the facilities were there and it was handy to print off our boarding passes. We had a big room with a private bath on the 2nd floor. The area was fairly quiet and the bed comfortable. The only downsides, a really, really, really old tube tv with some channels that didn't work and the lack of a lift.

The room's windows were not sound-proof enough. The ventilation could not be turned off. Breakfast was very sparse for the price we paied.

Even though I gave this bed & breakfast 3 stars, if the rooms had been a bit more roomy, I might have given it more stars. Generally, if I was staying IN Boston I probably would stay here again. It is priced very well, especially on a graduation weekend when everything was sold out. It also is located very conveniently between two T-stops (Symphony and Convention Center). It is walking distance to "downtown" area, Fenway and we even walked to Boston University although it was a bit of a distance.

Room didn't appear to have AC, so that could be a problem in the summer. We just opened the window. And it was loud for awhile, but then quieted down. There is no elevator, but the nice man at the desk helped me out to the 2nd (but really the 3rd floor) with my suitcase.

Oasis is a good bargain (clean and very helpful staff) and very well situated in Boston. We felt very safe there.

Room Tip: Might want a back of the building room as in nice weather there are a lot of people outside. It is c...

Our expectations weren't very high and this B&B did meet those. The Beds and washrooms were clean. The Service was fine but not overly friendly. Breakfast was simple but fresh. Our room was probably the smallest in the facility with a double bed and a shared washroom-- not really suited for two adults but it was managable for 2 nights. Overall the accoommodation and location were all average to good. Not really any complaints other than there was a mouse in the heating vents-- we heard him and saw him swing acrobatically from the inside of the vent's grille but he was unable to actually get into the room. We closed the vent, problem solved.

This was our 42nd hotel stay in six months travel across North America. We stayed as vactioners for two nights in a queen bed room (ground floor room with private bathroom), for an average of $125/night (including tax).

What’s good: It’s clean and we found the location reasonable for tourist. A limited breakfast was included in our rate. Wifi worked reasonably.

Minor annoyances: The room size and bathroom were quite small - with two people and two backpacks we felt cramped but given the age of the Guest House – they didn’t make large apartment buildings back then. During or stay it snowed, and we never really felt warm. Staff attitude was dependent on the individual and ranged from pleasant to indifferent. Our room faced the street so it wasn’t a particularly quiet for sleeping.

Nearby: There’s plenty of close-by food choices, including a large CVS Pharmacy a minute away.

My first review. I'm a Type-A perfectionist and cannot fault this place; the only (tiny) criticism is that the morning coffee should be hotter...

The room was small-ish but totally adequate. FREE wifi. The breakfasts are great and the coffee good quality. Staff are always there and very helpful.

Great location near Berkley Music College - lots of young people walking around. 2 minute walk to Starbucks; 3 minutes to CVS pharmacy and WholeFoods; 5 minutes to laundromat and subway. 10 minutes to local park/ nature reserve.

I will definitely stay here on my next Boston trip. I can recommend it unreservedly.

Room Tip: Room 215 - en-suite
