WOW!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 18, 2014
What can you say, the Four Seasons always hits the mark. We were given a room facing Boylston St. and The Common Wealth Park. At first we were Delighted with the view but as the night went on the noise level increased. Motorcycles racing by, and people talking loudly below the window late into the night. When we were asked "how our night was" by the fromnt desk the next morning we mentioned the noise level in our room. The front desk attendent immedietly looked for another room facing the inner court yard. We were leaving for the day and were told to pack our bags and they would move them to the new room while we were out. Upon our return, the room was perfect, our luggage was moved, and a treat was left for us and our child. Outside, there was a doorman for each guest, it seemed. No waiting for the car, ever. What a great experience! The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The gym, pool, and sauna were all nice too, of course. The room service was delicious and came exactly when promised. We had a wonderful time in Boston and I attribute most of it to the centrally located Four Seasons.
Date of stay: September 2014
Room Tip: If you want quiet at night, get an inner room. If you want a great view, get a room facing the Park

We were very pleased to welcome you to Boston from Colorado and are glad to hear that we could make your stay in New England a good one. Our Front Desk staff are second to none and I was glad my colleagues could assist in finding a room more to your liking. We appreciate you sharing your comments with other travelers and hope we can welcome you back to our Back Bay hotel when travels bring you back to Boston.

The Four Seasons Boston was absolutely amazing. The staff were exceptional!
It was conveniently located near Newbury street, so we got tons of shopping done :)
It's also great for children. When you check in, they bring a little wagon full of stuffed toys, and the kid can pick whichever one they want :) Teens get a special website where they can order a snack, drink, and giftcard/present!

The bathroom was also amazing, I loved that the shower was right next to the bath, and that it was super clean and beautiful looking.

Great for all ages.

I'm overjoyed reading your review about our family friendly hotel in Boston. Also, I'm delighted that you took advantage of our central location and nearby proximity to Newbury Street, as well as the various amenities that we offer from the toy wagon for children upon arrival and the Virtual Teen Amenity! I loved reading your comment that our staff was "exceptional" throughout your stay and I have shared your kind feedback with my colleagues. Our entire team takes great pride in providing extraordinary service and I'm thrilled that you received just that. Many thanks again for your wonderful review. I hope to welcome you and your family back to the Hub in the near future.

after all of these years, I'm finally getting around to writing a review
my daughter spent 7 years in school in boston, this was the hotel we stayed at during 7 years' of visits
it's a Four Seasons so the service is very attentive. I always enjoyed going into the bar/lounge for drinks/light meals. the gym/pool is exceptional. one can sit in the indoor pool/hot tub and look out at the boston gardens in winter.
it has a suburb location.
[if the concierge recommended a restaurant that you thought mediocre, it wasn't his fault. all of the restaurants in Boston were mediocre].
it was a good 7 year run Four Seasons.

Room tip: the rooms facing the park are better than the rooms that don't.

We were very touched to read that Four Seasons Hotel Boston was your hotel of choice during your daughters’ studies in Boston. It’s indeed a lovely compliment to have had you and your family as our guest for all seven years of your trips to Boston, and we appreciate being part of that experience. We hope your daughter is enjoying a very successful and happy post-university life and that things are well for you and your family. If travels bring you back to Boston, we certainly hope to continue that seven year run, for which we have been very grateful. Thank you very much for your review, which was a pleasure to read.

We stopped on our way home from a week at the beach. The Four Seasons Boston is without a doubt the best family-oriented luxury hotel in Boston. i would recommend it to any family with children of any age who want comfort without the formality of hotels of a five star hotel.

This beautiful hotel runs with the clockworth smoothness that the Four Seasons is known for. The location in perfection (splurge on a room looking onto the Boston Public Garden) and all of the check-in, check-out, grabbing a car or cab are handled with quick efficiency. Our room was a small suite with an adjoining bedroom for our teenage son. The rooms are lovely, well appointed, and comfortable. The bathrooms were both quite large and luxurious. Room service breakfast arrived on time and was yummy. The housekeeping staff was able to keep the teenage son's room tidy which was a Herculean task. The bar downstairs is comfortable and their Mule in the Garden, a strawberry spin on the traditional Moscow Mule, can't be missed! This is my third stay in the hotel and I adore it!

What a pleasure to read your review. We certainly enjoy spoiling our guests, and each and every staff feel a sense of accomplishment when they can make each guest feel like family. We are so delighted to have welcomed you back to our Back Hotel for several of your visits, and we hope to see you back very soon. (We are also big fans of the Bristol Lounge’s Mule in the Garden! The strawberry is a fantastic touch – please give us a call if you’d like the recipe, which calls for Stoli Elite, lime juice, ginger syrup, strawberries, basil and soda over crushed ice.) Thank again for your thoughtful comments.

Elected the Romance Package, which includes a room and in-room martini service and breakfast in bed. The in-room martini service was really cool, I expanded my usual recipe thanks to the bartender's great recommendations. The breakfast was great, the accommodated all of our requests (salsa, egg whites, hot sauce, etc). They personalize everything and treat guests very well, making you feel special for that getaway (in our case, an anniversary celebration). It was a treat.

Room tip: Rooms facing the Boston Commons are $100 more, but it's a much nicer view. 7th floor room had no street noise.

Congratulations on your recent anniversary! We're delighted that you chose to spend such a momentous occasion with us at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. What better way to start off the celebration than with the Martini Mixologist and end the stay with breakfast in bed?! We've shared your comments with our entire team and couldn't be more pleased that you enjoyed your experience at our Boston hotel. We hope to welcome you back for many more special occasions in the future.
