Good Hotel, very well located, so that you can do a lot of the interesting points in Boston by foot. Nice fitness /gym area with modern equipment where you even can let fresh / clean sneackers - if you forgott to bring your own.
Friendly staff and good service. Free WIFI in every room was a little bit slow. If you want a fast net you have to pay 15 $ a day.
What i´ve missed was a cofffe machine in the room. Beside that, room itself was well equipped an comfortable but the off/on switches/installations of the lightning are placed unfunctional. And as usuall in the US: no german TV channel available.

I am a great lover of Four Seasons Hotels and usually try to stay in them whenever I visit the USA.

Location:

Couldn't really be better. Close to lots of shopping, sites and many good restaurants. It's also only 20 mins from the airport.

Service:

As you would expect, the service is excellent. All the staff are attentive, polite and definitely up to the standard of other FS hotels I have stayed in. No complaints here.

Room:

I had a room on the 7th floor, so it was quiet and also spacious. The air-con and ventilation was not very good. My room was a bit stuffy. The bathroom was also a bit below the normal FS standard and I felt it was a tad small. Shower pressure was a bit low. Bed comfort was excellent and I slept well here. There is also free wi-fi (incredibly)! Housekeeping service was superb. I did feel the decor in the room was somewhat tired looking.

Hotel Dining / Bar:

As far as I could tell, the only bar/restaurant in the hotel was the 'Bristol Lounge' which I went to a few times for a drink and once for breakfast. Of course, it is outrageously expensive for a drink but the service is good and it's a nice place to be. I was a bit disappointed with the service at breakfast with the waitress coming across as a bit disorganised and not that attentive but the food was very nice.

Overall:

A really nice place to stay. The reason I am not awarding 5 stars is because the rooms could do with a bit of a freshen up and the bathrooms need modernised. That said, I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The very-good: Service, location (really easy to get just about everywhere from here), breakfast (the only meal I had in the hotel), decent lighting, comfortable room
The less-good: No coffee maker in room (c'mon- at luxury pricing, this should be standard), stuffy HVAC system (also seems to be common, even in top hotels in the US. Europe's luxury hotels are much better at this)

So, no real quibbles about one of my favorite hotel chains, for those who can swing the price.

Room Tip: Maybe a higher floor, but even my 4th floor room was decently quiet.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It’s a delight to know that you enjoyed our service, location, rooms and breakfast offerings. Hopefully a future visit will bring opportunities to enjoy lunch, dinner and cocktails as well; we recommend the famous Bristol Burger or fresh New England seafood specialties, two can’t-miss favorites. Our Rooms division likewise appreciates your feedback with regard to coffee makers in guest rooms. We hope you did take advantage of the complimentary coffee and muffins in the lobby and spa each morning nonetheless. Above all, thank you for the compliment that we’re a favorite hotel chain...it makes us smile. We appreciate your business and loyalty!

Our first port of call on our first trip to New England. Most efficient front desk team. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a few nights. We were well looked-after by the staff in the popular and busy Bristol lounge. The only distraction was the 'music' that left much to be desired. Great pancakes for Breakfast took my mind off it - mostly! If I could ask for one thing, it would be for a second, quieter restaurant venue / lounge in which to relax. Clearly a lot of business meetings take place in the Bristol lounge.

The hotel is well-situated for those inclined to explore on foot the nearby landmarks and park. Peaceful bedroom for rest and relaxation. The air-conditioning was probably the quietest we have encountered.

On the day of departure, we over-looked a bag when we left the hotel's courtesy car. We had not realised it was missing when they called to let us know. To our delight, the driver immediately came back to our drop-off location to ensure that all was well as we embarked upon the next phase of our trip. We were very grateful - and impressed.

Room Tip: Best to call for information if what is provided on the website is insufficient. We had a deluxe ga...

Thank you for your review; we’re honored to have been your first New England stop! We’re pleased too that you enjoyed both your guest room and The Bristol Lounge restaurant. Your comments about our music selections are equally appreciated. Music is something we’re always looking to enhance, and something we too have prioritized for the future, as we know how important it is to get it right. Above all, we’re elated to know that our House Car driver was so helpful. We recognize how difficult traveling can be, and it’s our goal to ensure our guests feel at home, welcome and looked after...always!

I stayed in the Four Seasons in Boston in late September of this year. About three weeks later, I realized that I had left one of my most cherished sport coats while hurriedly packing to catch a flight at Logan. My office called the hotel and they went to the room, found the jacket and a pair of slacks and promptly sent them back to me perfectly folded and wrapped with a personal note from the Manager of Hotel Security. In this day of diminished expectations, the Four Seasons hotel group is a treasured constant of old school, high quality, personal attention to service and detail that is unsurpassed in the hotel business.

The level of service at this hotel is of unsurpassed quality. Every service component was highly professional, polite, and courteous in every way imaginable. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel; valet, bell-hop, check in, was just 5 star class all the way.

This level was carried into the fitness and pool staff, as well as food and food service. All was superb. We elected to eat meals in our room, and as expected, the waitstaff was phenomenal.

My wife and I traveled with our 13 month old daughter. There was a full crib set up in the room and was supplied with all of the changing needs for our child as well as a stuffed toy for her amusement.

I really don't see how this hotel could be topped for quality of service, accommodation (hotel based aesthetics and ambiance category) or quality of food. The location is just the cherry on top of the perfection achieved by the staff.

When we seek quality hotel lodging in Boston again, the choice for us is simple: Four Seasons.
