This property has become, for me, the benchmark to judge other hotels with.
From the moment you step into the lobby to check-in and until you leave, the service levels, the warm smiles and the eagerness to please will leave you breathless. Compares well with any Four Seasons anywhere. I rate this property higher than the George V in Paris in terms of service.
The room service standards are difficult to match for any other hotel. In a longish stay, not a single error, never a minute's delay and when you want your tray/table cleared, someone's at the door within a couple of minutes. Similar with laundry pick-up and bellman services. Astonishing speed and efficiency all around.
The smallish rooftop pool and health center are very nice, the concierge services are top-class, the breakfast and other meals at Bristol Grill are also very very nice. Spa treatments are among the best you will experience anywhere.
The room itself is very large, the bathroom is also oversized, wifi upto two devices is free, the toiletries are L'Occitane. No coffeemaker, although complimentary tea/coffee and muffins are served in the lobby in the morning.
The hotel offers a complimentary car for drops within a couple of miles and with the small size of Central Boston, it is a service you do get to use often.
