I got married here last weekend and I and my wife's family stayed for two nights and had an incredible time. Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a corner suite because of our wedding. I explained to Tom at the front desk that we appreciated the gesture but actually preferred the Harborview Deluxe and he was very quick to accommodate us. The room was beautiful and the furnishings top notch. The Staff from the Concierge to the room keeping are all so helpful and deligent about the work they do. One morning the lady came to clean and she was there for over an hour making sure everything was perfect and the room wasn't even dirty.
The hotel is located directly on the water. I am Massachusetts born and raised and have taken my boat to Boston Harbor on several occasions and the view from this hotel, in my opinion, is the best in Boston. The service, furnishings, and food at this property are 5 stars all the way. The health club and spa are beautiful and worth a visit. If you are arriving to (BOS) Logan Airport there is a water taxi that will bring you across the harbor and right to the hotel for less $7-$10 pp. It's much cheaper than a taxi and what better way to begin your vacation and end it than with a boat ride.
The location is excellent. The Boston Aquarium is a 3 min walk away as well as the world famous Faneuil Hall. Faneuil Hall has wonderful shopping and a food court with foods from all over the world. Both are worth a visit. Also Boston's North End is only a 5 min walk down Atlantic Avenue. This is Boston's version of Little Italy and boasts some of the most delicious authentic handmade pasta and Italian dishes the area has to offer. Please stop at Mike's Pastry on Hanover Street, the main drag of the North End. The line may be long but the canoli's and pastry’s are well worth the wait!
This hotel is located in a central area, within walking distance to many attractions including the Boston Commons. If you are looking to indulge yourself and pamper in pure luxury then this is the place for you. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask as I often do so myself. If you found my review helpful please vote for me as well. Thanks and enjoy your stay!
