Excellent Japanese restaurant close to the Symphony Hall. Great value for money, especially in this neighbourhood. Simple but great food and very friendly service.

We've been spoiled by living in Hawaii. The rice is always cooked to perfection in Hawaii and since returning to New England, we were searching for a quality sushi restaurant. We found just that in Symphony Sushi. The rice was perfect. The fish was high quality (not fatty) and the sauces light and tasty.

We still haven't found spicy ahi poke yet but we'll keep trying or learn to make it ourselves.

Located on a side street (Gainsborough St off of Huntington Ave) near Symphony Hall, New England Conservatory of Music (Jordan Hall), and The Huntington Theater, Symphony Sushi is always crowded on concert/theater nights. Great sushi and regular entrees, good service, a reasonable wine list including by the glass, and fair prices makes for ideal pre-concert dining. A popular place for students from neighboring colleges, but more of a neighborhood gem then a college place. Also good lunches -- a great place to stop if you are walking down Huntington Ave to the Museum of Fine Arts where dining options are VERY expensive. But if you don't know that it is there, you will miss it

It was small, they didn't take reservations after 5 or 6, couldn't quite get the real story, no where to wait escept by the freezing door, BUT, it was worth the wait. The sushi was fresh, service was good. It was a berry good meal and we had no complaints. I would come here again.

Delicious!!! Can't stop myself eatibg there!! I strongly recommend it!!

Must try: fashion maki-- it is something out of this world.

Agadeshi tofu: never had one as food as theirs.

Theie price is very reasonable. Thz only peoblem is that it gets very crowded in the evenings. We usually go for dinner, but a brunch on the weekend is something else. It iq not that crowded and super relaxing!
