7 nights in October 2013 for a business stay. The hotel is relatively new, and is very clean and quiet. I could hear planes overhead from nearby Logan airport, but it was not disturbing. Ask for a room away from the elevator and ice machine. Rooms are comfortable, beds a little softer than I like. Bathroom is nice, with a shower only. A couple of dings: I like my phone near me at night, but could not find an outlet integrated into the lamp on the nightstand, so I had to unplug the clock radio. The hotel restaurant is closed for renovations, so in-house food is a limited bar menu/room service. However, there are several great restaurants just steps away as well as a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. internet service was fine, but had to re-login a couple of times. The business center is tucked far down a hallway. I could not print my boarding pass because of printer connection issues, but the front desk staff was very helpful. I requested and was granted a late (2 p.m. checkout time....thank you!)

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevator and ice machine.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend this summer with our son and his family. We had adjoining rooms. We went for a Red Sox game. Everything was perfect, but our baby grandson got sick after a long day of city trekking and the hotel did everything they could to help out in the situation, new bedding for him and gingerale and whatever they could do for him and his parents. We thought their response to a sick child was wonderful and over the top. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to be in Boston near everything. The service was impecable and every employee was so nice and courteous. Loved this hotel and the people who work there.

Room Tip: We were on the 7th floor and it was about the right height for us, fast to get to and not too high.

Nice hotel, everything you would expect from a renaissance. Currently restaurant is closed, till January 2014. One major drawback, valet parking. Worst ever, extremely understaffed. Be prepared to wait endlessly for your car. Or worse yet, when you return to hotel you may be stuck in busy street waiting to valet your car. Best solution is to not use hotel valet ($46 a day) use public parking lot which is about 100 feet past hotel. It's where the valet puts your car anyway and it only costs $32 a day.

The Renaissance Boston Waterfront is a great hotel. The location is close to all the attractions (like Faneuil Hall, Boston Common) and close to great dining & shopping! Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. And the staff is friendly and helpful!!

I stayed here a few weeks ago when I came home to visit my son - The seaport district is booming. This hotel is in the center of the action. Clean, big, lots of room to stretch out and relax. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying near the airport

Stayed just one night during a business trip, so didn't have time to avail myself of all of the facilities (fitness center, indoor pool), but I was pleased with the location and accommodations. King room was spacious and comfortable. In-room coffee maker and Aveda bath products were a nice touch. Front desk staff were professional and courteous. I would definitely return to this hotel for future business trips to Boston.

Stayed eight nights here for business in late September. Conveniently located on the Harbor, there are enough nice spots to eat very close to the hotel within a short walk or South Boston or downtown is a quick cab ride. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and offer a nice view of the harbor on the higher floors. Shower pressure is strong which is always important if you end up here for a while. The Starbucks in the lobby is a bonus as is a nice deli/grocery around the corner for incidentals. Felt very safe here and in the surrounding neighborhood.
