“Excellent Property Near Black Falcon Cruise Terminal”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Easy access from Logan Airport to this waterfront hotel - great location near many restaurants, shops & Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Reception was friendly, helpful & quick. Highly recommend booking a Club Floor room for great harbor views, excellent rooms and Club Floor amenities. Absolutely would again stay at this property - local Boston City transport just outside hotel. Perfect for a pre-cruise stay.

Room Tip: Book a Club Level Floor.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Starbucks coffee in lobby. Nicely appointed lounge. Rooms very comfortable and large. Beautifully appointed in many ways. Very safe location for the tourist. Many restaurants to choose from within walking distance along the harbor. Nice walk to downtown.

Room Tip: Buidlings across street under construction as this is a newly developing area. Perhaps request a ro...

The Renaissance Boston Waterfront knows what service is all about. We got into town on a late flight. We checked in just after midnight. I did note on my reservation that my wife is currently pregnant. That is all I needed to do and the hotel too care of the rest.
Upon check in Jacques made sure we were taken care of. He could see that my wife was very thirsty. We were going to wait until we got to the room but he was quick to give her cold water and a treat. Wonderful hospitality by everyone at the front desk.
The hotel staff took care of every detail. Our room had extra pillows and the bed was perfect. They even gave us an unexpected upgrade which we really appreciated.
The Renaissance Boston Waterfront is the place to stay. The staff here knows hospitality and if they know what is going on they will do everything they can to make your stay memorable.

Many rooms have a great view of the harbor. A free ride from the airport on the silver line transit that stop across the street from the hotel. You are a short walk from the harbor and many good restaurants. Rooms are quite and comfortable.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the harbor.

Our check in experience was with Adam Muse. What a great host! He took the time to suggest places to eat nearby (it was late in the day, we didn't want to go far or "fancy"). He asked what our interests were, told us how to get around Boston on the subway, and was very congenial and helpful. Our room was lovely. We'd asked for a harbor view. Could also see a building under construction, and a park with a comical looking exercise class going on the next morning. (Very earnest!)
We elected not to eat breakfast in the hotel. Looked expensive. Ate at Starbucks attached to the lobby.
Hotel is close to subway line and transport from the airport is quick and FREE!
Taxi to the cruise ship terminal is about ten dollars. Easy.....

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking water.

We stayed for two nights in early September and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious enough, clean and very comfortable. I recommend parking around the corner (turn right after hotel entrance), you'll save a few bucks and it's only a short walk to the hotel. We had a drink in one of the hotel bars which was pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, but mostly "chain types".

I spent two nights in Boston for business. The hotel was modern and first rate. The staff was very helpful at check-in, found me a room when my room wasn't prepared upon check in. As I came and went, I was alway greeted by those I ran across with the hotel. I found my room to be updated and very comfortable. The only thing I found unusual was the master light switch for the room. I look forward to my next trip to Boston and This will be my hotel of choice.
