This hotel is located by the waterfront with very convenient access to public transport. I took the free shuttle bus Silver Line from Logan Airport direct to hotel in less then 10 minutes. I get the room by the corner with partially waterfront and city view for 4 nights stay. The room was great and it's big enough and come with the basic things. I went to the hotel lobby lounge for a drink and the service was excellent and there is a DJ's playing too on every weekend. I just order some room service and went out for lunch and dinner outside the property and there is plenty good restaurant just surrounding by hotel area plus 7 eleven and other convenient store too. Overall I was very happy with the hotel and the location will definitely back to stay with this hotel in future if I ever visit Boston again.

We needed hotel for one night before early train and I wanted to check out this newly-developed area on Boston’s waterfront. We were able to check in early in a nice but basic room w/ fabulous views from 28th floor – really enjoyed watching the boats. We had rollaway brought up for no fee. There was plenty of room for the two double beds and rollaway for teen (we were two adults, two kids). The room had refrig, great a/c during the heat wave and was quiet. Bathroom was small, typical Marriott shower/tub combo, one sink, basic toiletries and towels. The pool, jacuzzi and gym were good. Lobby lounge is nice place to have a drink. They serve delicious martinis – loved the stemless glass. Wifi is free in lounge.

There is not much to explore in this area – it is very quiet. There are a bunch of new restaurants located on waterfront and a Dunkin Donuts and 7/11 a short walk down the street. We ate at the Legal Seafoods on waterfront and I think I lost a little of my hearing – it was insanely loud. We tried to walk back from Faneuil Hall at night but it was too far and felt unsafe due to group of fighting homeless men who were clearly intoxicated. South Station was $10 cab ride, Faneuil Hall $10. Apparently, there is new Silver line nearby to access rest of city. The hotel is nice enough and prices good but I doubt we’ll stay again due to desolate location. It is not close enough to everything we love to do in Boston.

We just returned home from a 4 night stay in Boston July 17-21. The hotel is in a beautiful location in Boston's new and expanding Waterfront Area. The staff was fantastic. A special thank you to Mariano for acknowledging our gold membership and upgrading us to a beautiful junior suite. It was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. That really made our stay comfortable seeing that we were travelling with our children. The food at 606 Congress is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. The hotel is conveniently located a short block from the subway, so no need for a taxi.

I've stayed here a couple of times, both times on weekends. The property has a great location in the new / ever expanding Waterfront area. It's an easy walk to most places, or a quick cab ride to the Garden or Fenway. Last weekend when I stayed, they had a one man musician in the lobby bar (RLife) and he was very good. Rooms are standard Renaissance / Marriott room. There is a club lounge on the 20th floor that is open Sunday night - Friday morning. The staff and service has always been good and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quiet. It's set up quite nicely for a business traveler, and is quiet for sleeping - two of my most important features!

The hotel is located a short block from the Silver Line, so no need to get a taxi from the airport. There are several nice restaurants surrounding the hotel, and the convention center is walking distance. The restaurant is a little pricey, but the menu is wonderful. The bar is warm and inviting and a nice place to wind down after a long day.

The staff is wonderful, and really does care about your stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I have to travel to Boston.

Our family of four stayed at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront in the recent heatwave July 17, 2013 when we needed a one-night extension and our other hotel couldn't accommodate us. We arrived after midnight, hot and exhausted and found a cool and elegant lobby and a very nice room waiting for us. The room decor was contemporary with a mild nautical/ocean theme which was tastefully carried through the carpet, shower curtain and wall art. The towels were quite nice with a 'spa' texture, and the shower like new- extremely clean. Beds were comfortable, toiletries good. While pricey (I was in a pinch and got the rack rate), no complaints. Good location!

This hotel is close to the convention center - about a 5-7 minute walk. The hotel is nice updated and kept, clean, and the rooms are fine. The staff were very helpful and generous. For business travel though, the food options at the hotel itself were very limited. They had a restaurant and a bar, but just a few food choices. There were restaurants around the hotel, but the choices were really limited and make sure to make reservations - esp if a meeting is in town!
