The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel offers lovely, clean rooms. The location is great for walking along the harbor, catching a boat ride or visiting Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall. The local restaurants, bars and shopping are plentiful and diverse.

Their Sunday brunch was extensive and delicious. We attended a wedding onsite and the food was the best "wedding food" we ever ate.

The service was excellent. We were greated by name by the concierge each time we entered the hotel.

The only challenge was parking at $44/day. It may be typical for Boston, however, it felt a bit pricey.

Overall, the property location, condition & decor made this a great choice for a hotel in Boston.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the water.

Hilton And Marriott gold, this hotel's staff don't care. Bad service at both the bar (except Sal - he is awesome) and the front desk. Water pressure poor along with maid service. Good location from conference center

My family and I spent the weekend in this hotel prior to boarding a cruise ship at the port. I have a lot of experience with Renaissance hotels across the country and this one ranks on the top of the list. The location overlooking the waterfront was very nice with many restaurants to chose from and other scenic things to do. It is close to the cruise port and just a short walk to the Silver line metro station. The hotel was great, it was very clean with a friendly staff, we especially enjoyed the VIP lounge overlooking the city. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip back to Boston.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious room (we had the corner room, which also provides a great view of the bay). Very comfortable bed; clean spacious bathroom. Their fitness center is excellent - plenty of machines, everything is new and clean, big TVs, beautifully designed bathrooms, towels. They even serve apples as snacks, which I found to be a nice touch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, such as Legal Seafood and several steakhouses. However, Their own restaurant was also very good; and if you happen to have breakfast there, make sure to order the Lobster eggs Benedict for a truly unforgettable breakfast experience!

Room Tip: Corner rooms have a great view of the Bay

We are regular visitors to Boston and love this location. The free Silver line bus from the airport drops you a half block from the hotel. The front desk team is welcoming and helpful. South station is a mile from the hotel - we walk everywhere. Long Wharf is also about a mile. Lots of good restaurant options nearby. We have never eaten In the hotel restaurant.

Room Tip: Harborside and high for good views.

My husband and I stayed there prior to a Canada Cruise. The hotel itself was very good. The room was very clean and staff was very friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable. The location is also very good, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I definitely would not take a cruise from that port but the hotel is good.

My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance Botston Waterfront Hotel prior to a New England/Canada cruise. It is just across the bridge from the Boston airport and very convenient to the cruise port which is a very short cab drive away. The room was very average for a hotel in this price bracket. It was clean and spacious with very unique headboards. There was a fridge and coffee maker (old style, not a Keurig) in the room. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. Wi-Fi is NOT free in the room but it is free in the very comfortable lobby/lounge area. There is a Starbucks on-site also.

Check-in process was very good.

We weren't too impressed with the on-site restaurant, especially the service but I'll save that for a separate review. There are a lot of restaurants surrounding the hotel with outdoor seating along the waterfront so go looking around for better options. There is also a take-out deli a couple of blocks away that has breakfast sandwiches.

Also nearby is the outdoor ampitheather next to the harbor. We could hear the Sting concert going on while we walked the nearby boardwalk.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have water views so ask if that is important to you.
