I stayed at this property from February 7th and throughout the weekend, which happened to be a major snow storm. The staff was asked to stay over a day or two, to make sure that all their guests were given the warm hospitality and service each Marriott guests receives. I wish to thank everyone staff member for always keeping their smiles; to the Omelette Chef on Saturday morning which delighted me with one of the best omelettes I have eaten. The property is very clean, rooms are large and well equipped. Thank you for making this somewhat long and painful weekend enjoyable.

Hotel grounds and interior are modern, clean and beautiful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
I had the pleasure of staying here for a conference back in October 2012. The access to the Silver Line made it easy to get to and from the airport, as well as to and see some of Boston upon my arrival. Service by the front desk staff and concierge were very courteous and friendly. Conference facilities and refreshments/meals provided were very lovely. The Starbucks adjacent to the lobby was a welcome perk. I also had the opportunity to use the workout room during my visit, which was clean and up to date. I could have done without having to be saddled WiFi access fee, however. Not sure I understand why it isn't inclusive in the room rate, but unfortunately I see this in a lot of fancier hotels. Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodations and ambiance and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Nothing really to look at if you are assigned an interior room. If possible, inquire about an exter...

I was at the hotel for a weekend conference in November. To be honest, I was pretty tired from the cross-country trip this time so I decided to stay in rather than visit familiar Boston haunts. The hotel and the hotel room, though designed for the business traveler, felt anything like that. The lobby is spare but cool and elegant, more like an exhibit area in a modern museum than a hotel lobby. The rooms are "classic" Renaissance, with furnishings and colors that are a twist on the traditional hotel room. The bed was very comfortable and it was an easy room in which to relax and get work done. The staff was professional and courteous, from the front desk to room service to housekeeping. Nothing to worry about and nothing to complain about during my two night stay. This is a great hotel, though a little ways from Boston's main tourist areas. I hope our conference meets there next year and maybe I'll be up for a little more activity. Thanks to everyone at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.

This hotel is clean, bright, and pleasant. Although it is not super close to the historic district, it is walkable. As well, the transit system in Boston is excellent. Easy to get to and from the airport. I have stayed outside of Boston for cheaper, but the Renaiisance is reasonably priced.

Stayed here in January and had a nice stay. Good selection of restaurants in walkable distance in the seaport district. This is primarly a business hotel with the large convention centers nearby. Downtown Boston is walkable (45 minutes) but more suitable in summer than cold winter months.

When you book room, ask for a room with a view of harbor or downtown. We had interior room with no view at all.

This is one of the new hotels which have emerged around the new Boston convention centre. Is it a gem. The service is superb. Everyone exudes an attitude that they really want to help you.

The rooms are fantastic. They are large with the amenities that I needed.

There is not too much around close by but enough good restaurants to satisfy the business traveller. Of course, if you are there for a convention event, it is perfect.

I would go with the family on the understanding that you will use cabs for the downtown attractions such as the waterfront and Fenway etc. Driving and parking in those areas is not a joy in any case.
