We stayed at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront the week of July 4th. It is very convenient because the Silver Line transit authority bus from the airport stops a 1/2 block from the back of the hotel, and it's quick. And it's easy to take this into the city for all your siteseeing. Very nice, newer hotel. Great location for foodies as there are a couple of terrific restaurants nearby, and an ice cream shop in the park across the street. The have very knowledgable concierges (they have a different name for them) right in the middle of the lobby to help with all your questions to get you started on where to go and what to do. It's a little farther from the action than the big downtown hotels, but you save on the rate, and getting to the subway line is easy. You're a block from the waterfront, with restaurants, etc. There's a great breakfast place around the corner that does take out. And a 7-11 and Duncan Donuts down the street. We could see the Roseway Schooner in the harbor from our room, which we toured on that night to watch the fireworks. Check them out, it's in town during the summer, and the crew will answer all your questions.
