I had used Old Town Trolley in Savannah. We got a discounted ticket from our hotel and they do extend military discounts. I really like that we could get off and on as we wanted. I had done my homework and knew what attractions I wanted to visits. There were a couple of negatives.....the map that they give out does not do a good job of locating stops. We got off on stop 3 and planned to get back on at Stop 4. On the map it looked easy, but those maps do not do well with the confusing streets of Boston. At the end of day our trolley filled up and there were people waiting near the end of route that could not get on. To their credit the driver did ask their dispatch to send out more trolleys. Another benefit was being able to ride for 2 days and the included admisson to the Tea Party Museum.

This tour is incredible! First of all, the drivers. They are all clearly well trained and passionate about what they do! They interact while keeping the tour informative and safe while driving through crowded streets.

Second the stops. The stops along the tour are wonderful. A great way to view some important places in history, but convenient to restaurants, other attractions etc.

The bonus is the fact that the company gives you two days for your purchase. Meaning you can hop off and on take your time at each stop getting the full experience without needing to rush because you know tomorrow you can pick up where you left off.

Special kudos to Peppermint Patty and Boston Bob for the amazing experience on the tour!

The old town trolley tour was very informative. We particularly enjoyed riding the tour with Giovanni. He had a great sense of humour and didn't overexplain things. We were impressed that the guides could drive in the traffic and explain the city so well at the same time.

We only had one day to enjoy Boston and chose this tour. The Drivers did an excellent job of explaining that made it very interesting. River was our guide for most of the tour and she was awesome! We loved being able to get on and off where we pleased. The trolleys picked up every 15 to 20 minutes. All drivers very helpful. Part of the ticket was a free tour of the Boston Tea Party museum which was the best! The Quincy market stop had the most amazing fast food choices in one place i have ever seen. Can't wait to go back to Boston when we have more time and will definitely use Old Town Tours again. Excellent value for the money.

Since we had only been to Boston once before over 25 years ago, my husband and I chose to tour the city with Old Town Trolley Tours. The ticket was good for two days and included admittance into the Boston Tea Party Museum which would have cost $25 per person on its own. Our day was cold and rainy so being able to hop on and off the heated, dry trolley was great. We never had the same tour guide twice as we got on and off the ride several times. Some guides were better than others but all were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Tea Party Museum was interactive and fun. The historic old section of the city is interesting to wander and stop at historic sites like the Paul Revere House and Old North Church. If you are unfamiliar with Boston and only have a day or two to visit then this is the tour to use.
