I rented a bike for the 13 mile Cambridge Bow Tie bike ride.

Urban AdvenTours delivered and picked up the bike at the start and end points of the ride, which was hugely convenient.

Keep up the great work.

In this one ride I saw more of Boston than I'd seen in 10 prior visits. The bike was great; the stops interesting; the landscape fabulous. Felt safe on bike lanes and off-road portions, less safe on crowded roads, though guides negotiated them well for the group.

City streets can be a challenge - we're glad you felt safe and had fun - the two rules riding with us!

We never would have seen half the sights we saw of Boston if we hadn't booked this tour. In 2 1/2 hours we covered the city from North End, up Beacon Hill to the Charles River, past Fenway Park, downtown and back again with our tour guides, Charles and Eric. Charles was very informative and knew a great deal ranging from the Revolution to current day events. I haven't been on a bike in 15 years, but it's true...you never forget. The bikes were very easy to ride even for an old girl like me. The only difficult part that required a bit of effort was Beacon Hill, but we all made it up the incline! It was all downhill from there so to speak. It was fun cruising past all the cars while on the bike lane. The people in the tour buses and trolleys actually looked jealous as we rolled by them. A great way to spend a morning!

The nigt tour was great. Boston is a great city for bike riders thanks to their ample bike lanes. We saw a plenty of the city in those two hours, the bikes were easy to ride on, and we felt safe with Moe, our tour guide. Highly recommend if you want something other than the conventional bus tour or boat tour. Riding back into the heart of the city, and seeing the skyline was definitely one of the best parts!

This is the best way to see Boston. To get the same experience on a tour bus, you’d have to:

• Convince the bus driver to hop the curb and drive through parks.
• Pipe in the scent of baked bread as you drive through Little Italy.
• Ride on the roof to feel the breeze.
• Stick your head out of the window to hear the sounds of the city.
• Pray that the pier holds as you explore Long Wharf and Back Bay.

Elise, our guide, was such a sweet and intelligent young lady. We hit all of the highpoints but also heard the funny and unusual stories too. The bikes are very nice, the pace is perfect, and the city is very bicycle friendly. Most of the time, you’re in a park or greenway. At no time did we fear becoming someone’s hood ornament. Everyone in their bicycle shop was super nice and they’re located just across the street from the Aquarium subway stop. This tour may not be for everyone. But if you are that lazy, boring, or cheap, there’s plenty of room on the bus!

Great to have you guys along for the ride! Thanks for choosing to see Boston by bike - we might be a little biased, but we agree it's a certainly a better view than from a bus!
