We loved the Nolan House!:
- Friendly hosts
- Nice rooms
- Tastefull breakfast
- Fantastic view at the roof at Boston

The neighbourhood:
- Free parking
- Busstop near the house
- Safe area
- The Junction: Irish pub with good food at low prices

We stayed there for three days, the next time we visit Boston, we will stay there again.

Kathy and John are friendly, knowledgeable hosts. I contacted them by email and received a prompt reply. Their prices are excellent and include a full breakfast everyday! The food was very good and you get to meet your fellow travelers at the table. I stayed in the Edwardian room which was very charming and comfortable. The house is located on a quiet street, but is convenient ly located for public transport or to get around with your own vehicle. And the beach park is only a 6-block walk away. I had a great stay and will definitely go back when I next go to Boston!

My wife and I were in town for a party on the Sunday of Memorial Day, and we were only looking for an affordable place to rest. We contacted John and Kathy, and they were happy to accommodate us for the night. We checked-in and had a chat with the two getting the history of the house, and how this B&B came about. We stayed in the first-floor room with the private bath. The breeze was so relaxing that we could have laid there all night, but we headed out to walk around Boston proper for a few hours. This was easily done by the #9 bus 200 feet up the street.

After heading back to the Nolan House from Boston, and getting showered and dressed, we left for the party, keeping in mind that breakfast would be a good treat in the morning. We woke-up on Monday and headed to the table. We shared the house with a Scottish couple and an Englishman. Breakfast was AWESOME; both filling and delicious.

We packed up, said our goodbyes to the the Hosts, and headed back to Belchertown, MA after an 18-hour whirlwind-tour buffered by some friendly hospitality. Thanks again Kathy and John!

Sincerely, Joe...

We stayed in Nolan House for 6 days in April 2007. It is located a quite and safe, neighborhood in South Boston and 10 minutes to the Broadway Red Line Station by walk. It’s also very near to the beach and Dorchester Heights monument. The house is very clean and comfortable. There are TVs with VHS players in every room and you can watch movies from the Nolan collection including box office hits. The breakfast is served at 8.30 and is very delicious. The house is run by Kathy and John Nolan, who are very kind and friendly people with funny stories! You can spend hours after breakfast by just listening to them! We enjoyed our time in Nolan House very much; it was one of the best places we stayed, really a home away from home!

The rooms are very big, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good every morning with lots of different choices. The owners are very helpfull and very service minded. Public transportation 3 steps away. The price is cheap for what you get. Whenever I return to Boston, I will stay at Nolan House!
