“Another great InterContinental Experience”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

I travel about 2 weeks per month, so I know my hotels. The InterContinental brand isn't a guaranteed safe bet, but in Boston, it certainly is.

Superior service, upscale decor, convenient bar & restaurant, and a truly knowledgable concierge. They helped me arrange a dinner with clients, and made my whole trip a little smoother.

My girlfriend and I stayed here during a friend's wedding weekend. First things first: the location is ideal for Boston. On other trips, I've stayed near Copley/Back Bay, Fenway area, Cambridge, and in the Seaport. If you're looking to access nearly every neighborhood on foot, public transport or cabs, the Intercontinental is ideal. The Greenway was beautiful, and we had a great lobster roll next door at James Hook. The room itself was great, we especially enjoyed the water view, comfortable bed, 'turndown music' and bathroom amenities. Rumba champagne bar was also a highlight, and being very early risers we loved the fitness club is 24 hours. Needless to say, I know where I'll be staying next time I'm in Boston!

Room Tip: Ask for a water view, or a view of the greenway/skyline - you can't go wrong!

We stayed here three nights for a friends birthday/St. Patricks Day celebrations.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic service, knowledgeable staff, and a hip lounge.

Our suite was beautiful and romantic. We were two couples , each with our own room.

It was very relaxing, beds are very comfortable, and we had great views of the downtown street without all the noise!

Fantastic stay!

Very clean, and very we'll located. A short walk to any attraction or place we wanted to be without having to deal with driving in the traffic and taking cans everywhere!

Room Tip: The higher the better, especially facing the front of TD hotel!

I travel to Boston every other month on business and always stay here. Great location, friendly staff, luxurious rooms - couldn't be better. There's great restaurants nearby and the breakfast at the hotel is terrific as well. Highly recommend it!

We stayed at the Intercontinental in Boston for a friend's wedding. This location is on par with the Intercontinental hotels we've stayed in elsewhere. Rooms are expensive, but very clean, comfortable and the hotel for our needs was centrally located.

I absolutely love Boston and was so pleased with my choice of this hotel. The staff was exceptional. Front desk personnel were extremely professional and welcoming. I honestly could not find anything negative. Room was of adequate size and well put together. The location was perfect - facing the harbor and within walking distance to most tourist attractions. No reservations about recommending this hotel to anyone; though it was not cheap, it was reasonable when comparing to hotels of similar quality.

Room Tip: Highest floor, view of harbor.

We were in Boston for Family Weekend at our daughter's college. As this was also Head of the Charles weekend, hotel prices were sky- high, and we. Booked through Hotwire. We were thrilled to get the Intercontinental Boston. We had never stayed in that part of the city before, and enjoyed walking around the area. It was a long way from her college, but we enjoy walking, and the T was very close. The hotel is elegant - impressive public areas and beautifully appointed rooms. The bathrooms are luxurious. Service was impeccable. I would happily stay here again.
