“Great location in the waterfront district”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Stayed for the weekend and loved the size of the hotel room and the amenities! Gorgeous bathroom. Easy walk to Quincy Market , walked to the North End for great Italian food. Very easy walk to just about anywhere in the city.
Had brunch in the restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. Staff very accomodating and friendly.
Overall, great experience!

Room Tip: ask for city views

Stayed a weekend at the InterContinental. The rooms are very nicely designed, well decorated and spacious. They’d work well for any business traveler or couples looking to get away.

The location is perfect for someone working in the Seaport district, Financial, South Station and Chinatown. Not far from Beacon Hill, the Common and Newbury St shopping.

Booked a night to celebrate our anniversary, ending staying two.

Room Tip: If possible stay above the 8th floor on the South or in a room located on the east and west walls.

Stayed for a weekend and it is in a VERY quite part of town. Can walk to Quincy though. The hotel has all the amenities and best bathrooms of any of the upscale Boston hotels.

The Sushi restaurant onsite is great.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Intercontinental in Boston and had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful and all of the staff were friendly and helpful, quite welcoming. Our room was spacious, booked a king bedroom but were upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately our view was not great, we were on the 5th floor looking towards the bay but across a big flat rooftop which was not very attractive. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge. We used the gym facilities and the pool, both were clean and spacious. The steam room available to guests in the locker rooms was a nice thing for a cold winter day. We had breakfast in the restaurant, came with the room rate we chose, it was large and satisfying. The other guests all seemed like business travelers. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if given the chance.

Our first visit to this hotel and it was fantastic. Can't say enough great things about how the employees are so nice so that tells me that they like working there..
It was a pleasure staying there and will return the next time we are in Boston.

Have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 5 years for business. What I like is it's very consistent delivery of quality services, friendly and competent front desk and bell staff, good value, and great location. The rooms are clean and quiet. I have stayed at several other InterContiental properties in the US and this one is as good as the others. The hotel's location and services make it a good choice for both families and business travelers. I didn't give it 5 stars because the room service choices are a bit limited and the quality, while good, needs to be better to rate higher.

Room Tip: They're all good. I'm in a room right now next to the elevators and I can't hear them!

The hotel is in a great location, about 10-15 minutes from the airport, and within walking distance to many of the sites in Boston - such as Quincy Market, north end.... There is public transportation ( south station) located less than 5 minute walk away. I stayed on the 12th floor, in a Club King Room overlooking the water. The room was nicely appointed, with a large bathroom and work space. The club lounge was very nice, offering a nice selection for breakfast, and evening snacks. It was a nice place to relax for a few minutes, and the staff was very friendly.

Room Tip: club level room
